dif between pole time and fastest lap?

Discussion in 'F1 2012 - The Game' started by kitsuna, Sep 22, 2012.

  1. Hi all, i've been wondering about this for a while now.

This season in F1 with the way that quali differs from the race in that the drivers can use DRS anywhere in qualy, but only in specific places in race, the fastest racing lap is usually significantly slower than the Pole time set. often by a couple of seconds (depending on how often they can use DRS during quali).

    Fair enough too.

However, in F1 2012, am I the only one finding that the fastest lap set during the race by the AI is usually about the same time as what they are doing in quali?

Is that actually happening, or am i just going nuts?

Maybe the AI is scripted again (?) :)

  3. I'd kinda hoped they'd addressed that. It's not reflective of how F1 is this season, and it winds me up. Also means I'm at a disadvantage in the race.
