Well, another test session for the WTCC cars! Handling improved a bit no increase in speed or much in laptime but.....

I couldn't believe I could hang on with a fast crowd for so long! I did everything right until Aaron was a real threat and I put an effort in that was too much and lost grip braking. An early pit put me back in front of him until he could find another place to get by me, which he nicely did.

I hope I can run that nicely in the next two races, I'd be very pleased.

A small crowd but good company, thanks for joining! Next week, fast cars, fast track, but I won't be able to run with you .

  13. Congrats to Yves for a steady drive and the W!

Was a fun race, and close with lap times. Our fastest race laps were only 3/100's apart, in the low 1:32's.
Happy I managed a pole, and proceeded to completely blow the start, with Yves and Aaron getting past and Dennis right on my butt. Was keeping pretty close to Aaron and Yves, but then managed to brain fart my way off a few times, then I pitted. Apparently selected full service...
Anyway, race setup needs work. developed a pretty low speed oversteer(yes, oversteer) in the later laps. Never complained about a FWD oversteering before.

Was fun to be back and I hope to see you guys(and hopefully more!) next time.

  14. What a blast that was, best 4 man race ever! Dennis was on fire!
I'm one of those who grins and giggle when in a battle, and by the end of the race, my cheeks hurt.lol
Apologies for the nudge. It took a while to get used to different braking points.
