    Hi all,

    I've tried making a custom spotter pack but when I try using my modified sound pack, no sounds come through at all but it works fine when I put the original back. Do my sounds have to have the same names as the original?

    Cheers

    Dom

    @Reb.Ellion so are you just trying to replace the sounds files and that is what isn't working??

    so this works:
    // Events
    Event = 3WIDE_1
    {
    File = en-US\3WIDE_1.wav
    Detail = 1
    Priority = 4
    Type = 3WIDE
    Text = RADIO: "Three wide."
    }

    but when I try using a different sound (that is in the same directory) it doesnt work.

    eg:
    // Events
    Event = 3WIDE_1
    {
    File = en-US\3wideright.wav
    Detail = 1
    Priority = 4
    Type = 3WIDE
    Text = RADIO: "Three wide!"
    }

    I might be off, but did you check the spelling of the file names? From the example given above it seems that the names are upper cases. Look in the original folder to check if it is consistent.

    I copied the sound file names into the text file so they're definitely correct :D

    Maybe the file, type and name are attached to each other?
    If so there will be no other way if you don't set the exactly name for the file as well i believe.
