custom helmets skin location

1. Hello all, I know I am missing something simple, I have created my first custom car skin for my league, and also finished a helmet skin. The car is all good and am very happy with the results, but... I also have a helmet for the driver, i have the appropriate file but for the life of me can't get it to show ingame, I see helmet .dds files in some of the other cars in AC, but not all seem to have a specific helmet.dds file, I have tried just putting it in the cars skin file and editing the .uni jason file, as well as editing the skins.ini file... i"m stumped, also the specific car is the Ferrari 312T.
