Discussion in 'F1 2011 - The Game' started by Atanas Penchev, Sep 17, 2011.

  1. Request.
Just saw the news on the site.
Fellas? Can you put a timer on the site with the time left till launch the game?Like 6 days ..hrs till f1 2011.
Will be an awesome tool. And on the day ...HOUSTON WE HAVE A LAUNCH , WE HAVE A LAUNCH!

P.S Like the timer on the f1 site for Singapore practice atm for example .

Because many people have preordered the game, or preloaded on steam etc, they are all going to get their games at different times, many of which before the realease date.

so a countdown Timer in this instance would not make sense if it is still counting down after people are already playing the game!

  3. James?
Codemasters has announced a 23rd September as official release date for F1 2011. I really don't understand your logic. Even if you gonna get your copy from anywhere. Then , how you can play the game before 23.09.2011? Yes there's a time difference but still. The date is a date.
I really doubt that someone will get hes copy from somewhere and much more, playing the game on 22.09.2011 or earlier .Or I'm wrong?
    Regards

It's not a global release. Some parts of the world will get the game at a different date

  5. Ok.Then I'm wrong.

  6. For instance last year people got the SmackDown VS. RAW 2011. game like 3 or 4 days before the official release. So it doesn't really matter when the official release is.

Last year I received the game on the Thursday, the day before release - and 70% of my friends list was playing it on that day too.
