Note3: A skinpack will be used for this event. All partipants are to download ths pack here whether they are using one of the skins or not.

CSL Schnitzer = 1250kg, 440bhp @ 8700rpm

slow in ,sliding the rear wheels out:wink2:
:good:

Couldn't agree more, I found (for me anyway) that the Beemer doesn't react well to being thrown at the corners, but a much smoother "brake earlier, get on the juice earlier" approach like Amir says, was where I got my best time when I was testing this track out.

The laps that felt slower (because there was no drama) ended up being the faster ones.

Oh Dammit :(

I have a total cock up of a night tonight. After some nice help of Sam giving me his setup I was on the pace but my game crashed about 5 times throughout the session(s) But then I did a lap at the end of the session and i thought it was practice so I started texting a friend and then I look up and see im a DQ'd :(

I didnt realise the new session we went into was the race and my pole position is pointless :teeth:

So that was my night...crashing computer and stupidness on my part...what a crap night for me...

maybe better luck next time :)
Thanks Sam for all your help, I look forward to actually racing with you guys when I am not being an idiot and I throw my PC out the window and get a new one, hope you all have a good race :)

i didnt get chance to practice so was well of the pace, but still was having fun. made my pit stop and got a S&G. i was sure i haddent been speeding, then a popup minimized my game and after being uber careful doing my S&G i exited the pits and got another 1 grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :(

Awww Nige, I was looking forward to another scrap like the first few laps, entered for my S/G just as you were leaving, thought we were in for a bit of nail biting end.:party2:

Woke up too late for any real practice time...

Quali - managed to get under 1:30 for the first time.. Well actually, it was my first time under 1:31. 1:29.8 I think I did, which was about 6/7th or something around there. Still a good 2-3 seconds off the fastest.

Race - Started reasonable. Was a few slow starters and Simon, who bagged 'em up and hit the pit wall. By the time we got to the first corner, I was 3rd behind Amir and Stu. Then I started going backwards. I think by lap 3/4 I was last, thanks to a nudge and roll by the same person.
After that it went a little down hill. Managed to get past Hans and catch up to Nigel. We were lapping around the same times, so I thought it could've gotten a little interesting, but nope. Nige pitted, copped a S&G... I pitted, copped a S&G, pitted again, copped another.... So at this stage I was ready to quit...
First I wanted to destroy my BM, for being so hard to drive. :laugh2:
Ended up putting it over the fence and off the map, falling to a death that would never come.

Ah well. Next time I 'spose.

Thanks Stu for setting it all up.

Oh, and Sam. I used your setup. You're a legend. It cut an epic amount of time off my lap times. Thanks.

Cheers

Glenn
