  12. did some testing . good track but the bmw is hard to control.my pb so far is 1'28'3. the ai do 1'25. maybe i need a better setup. sam, it's time for your setup if you will be kind enough to share?!

Amir - don't worry too much about the AI on GPL conversion tracks (which this is - the rF 79 mod was basically GPL tracks with the occasional tweak) - I'm led to believe after reading through that the rF AI is converted from the GPL AI, which is notoriously brutal and quick, and based on F1 cars. We were doing approx 2.14/2.15 last night in Stangs, Alfas, Cortinas - the AI were doing 2.10-2.11. It's a consequence of the conversion IMO.

1.28 will be closer to race pace than 1.25 mate

  14. Oh no.
    1:28.
    Crap, crap, crap.

    I can't get under 1:34! I thought i was going well too!

Is there a trick to getting the Beemer to turn in and hold the front end? All I seem to get is the front end sliding, and I've done some huge changes to the suspension.

I was talking about Oesterreichring 79 by the way. The same sort of thing happens at Zandvoort 67 - GPL tracks both.

This might come as a bit of a blow to you, Glenn, as I know you like to Starsky & Hutch it a bit, but try driving it simple & clean.

  17. That's the thing, I can't really get the rear to step out. It's the front that wont stop sliding on me. lol

More practice tonight, I'll try some different tyre pressures i think.

  18. slow in ,sliding the rear wheels out:wink2:

  19. I had a quick blast then and i was doing 1:29.9's but i'm not very good at making setups( Cough Couhg Sam :D)

tbh Ben, the Beemer's pretty solid, work on the gearing first, that's really important round Kya.
