Is this just steam, or can someone on xbox participate if stages are recorded?

Only PC, as we have no way of controlling the amount of tries on the stages etc. unless it's via the RaceNet league.
Of course, you can run them for yourself, and compare yourself, but it will not be "official" ;)

count me in, last one was great fun. Can I ask, is there anywhere i can check what place I finished?

Because I took too much time with the result parser last rally, no - the results are gone. Sorry.
Thanks to @Aaron DeMarre we have a neat little result tool I'm slowly learning how to get the best results from. I tend to make things more complicated than they are ;)

No worries. I love both Rally and Rallycross, so we will probably due a rallycross season on the Xbone, if interest is there.

I'll run along side and get some bonuses. I'll play by your rules.

Rally complete.....really enjoyed these stages...choose the escort...had a blast on stage 2,really enjoyed the tight hairpin section in the middle.
No big dramas all rally...and a big ups to fellow kiwi Hayden Paddon for his historic win today.

racing in assetto on here, but have dirt and woudnt mind a go, in the dirt menu how do i
get on server?

teamspeak? passwords? etc.

thanks
For joining the Club Racing Server.

1st you will need to go to www.dirtgame.com/

And then look to your left. There is a "falling out" drop menu where you should chose leagues.

You will also have to log in to your Dirt Live (I believe it's linked to your Steam account but don't quote me on that but I think you will know what I mean...).

When you've done this, search for leagues and write RaceDepartment and a list of leagues with some part of that name will show up. Chose RD's league, can't remember it's exact name now.

This should have you set.
Now you can open your Dirt Rally and in the title screen (as in where you chose Career, Options and so forth) you should be able to chose Leagues. In here you will join the rally's that RD puts up.

Teamspeak and all that I'll let the admins sort out as I'm not sure how to link to those pages...

Jonatan have already answered pretty good. But he is Swedish, and it is my duty as a Norwegian to do my best to better what any Swede do! (Do not look at Porkhammers times please)

First of all, do just like he said, and register yourself on www.dirtgame.com , either by creating a user there, or connect via Steam - whatever goat you like to float works!

Then you click this link which leads you to do the RaceDepartment league. Join that one.

When you start your DiRT Rally now, you can go on the leagues tab in game, and voila - there should be a square called "RaceDepartment" - click that, choose car and try to keep it on the road! :)

TeamSpeak, Passwords etc can be found here. But as this is a session that is open for 5 whole days, you will most likely not find anyone in the DiRT Rally channel. Another reason for this, is that the co-driver is quite important. It's not like you are lapping the same circuit for 1264th time. Those circuit racers have it easy!

Oh, and most the very important thing in the DiRT Club. Have Fun! :)

both the swede and the norwegian forgot one point which the chap from the north of germany (so just barely south of you two) will provide:
kindly leave your racenet name here http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/racenet-names.106853/ so that - if a parsing of results happens - the admins will know which rd member is represented by which racenet name.

Not only that, by adding people as friends on RaceNet, you will be able to compare the driving from the Codemasters daily, weekly and monthly events on the crest-telemetry system.
