F1 2013 Controller vs wheel

F1 2013 The Game (Codemasters)
I have a Logitech F310 controller and a rather mediocre Thrustmaster wheel which doesn't work but can be repaired. I know there is a difference, between the two, but is it worth repairing the wheel?

Thank you

I just got a simracing srw-s1.... I must say...its so much more "analog" and "precise" compared to gamepad. With a fixed wheel...I would say that would be even more. You will find it a lot more fun/challenging and rewarding IMO.

Hi
Hey just got G27 just yesterday.I would say controller never gives you that 100% control. For example is the Puohon corner in Spa.In controller you just turn the stick and you will probably end up turning too much.I wheel you can open the steering so much early and gain speed at the exit.

In this way the precise control will give you speed.

I repaired the wheel!

It is an Easytouch ET-2034 joy-wheel, and there is a problem with it. The throttle is ''stuck''. The higher Throttle Saturation is, more throttle is being stuck. Of cource this is a problem, especially in the first corners in circuits like Spa, Montreal and Monza, where you can go at the back of somebody with the stuck throttle. I will try to upload a video showing the problem.

@Graham Laing, I don't want to open another thread. Could you rename this one to Wheel Problem, or Easytouch ET-2034 Problem?
