F1 2011 Controller setup not saving properly

Hey guys. I wonder if any of u are having the same problem, every time i start the game i have to go and set my controller type to Logitech G25 wheel. No matter if i save the profile or what ever i do, it's always reset back to Keyboard when i start the game next time. All the other settings are stored, even the wheel settings and FFB but the controller type does not stay as G25 after restarting the game.

I tried to search the forums for this kind of post but couldn't find any, sorry for posting this if there is some disccussion about this already.

Are you ensuring that you start your game with your wheel START button?

If you start your game by hitting the keyboard enter key, the keyboard now becomes the default controller.

You MUST use the correct wheel BUTTON to start the game.

EDIT: You must be similar to me. I use a G27, and the start button is the 2nd red button from the left (of the 4 buttons), on the gearbox module. I haven't played for a while, but I think that's the one. Or press them ALL in turn ....
