Welcome to Wreckfest, the wrong way to drive at RACEDEPARTMENT
Will you survive till the end and score the most points for yourself or your team.
Can you handle the knocks and bangs of full contact racing.
Or do you just want a night of fun. if so this is for you.

WRECKFEST can be purchased through steam

The only real rule is in the race track events, there will no intentional driving backwards.
And you have to try and keep to the track. the rules are going to be loose but lets not go to crazy and spoil it.
Our very own, The voice of RD @Joseph Wright might be streaming some events this will be confirmed later (update streaming is a go)

All premium members can sign up for these event and we have up to 24 slots available so make sure to bring a friend. Sign up below and make sure to tag fellow community members who you think are up for a challenge!

The wheel setup is not great but playable here's my settings

simcade my butt, this is a full on sim.. its just like id expect if we let loose some of our drivers in real cars with a couple of beers and a golden ticket..

if were talking ffb
ffb works straight out the bag... (might not be the best but it works) but what you expect if 3 out of 4 wheels point in different directions ,, do you really want to simulate that in a wheel. so a bit of discretion is needed to make it work..
i like what it does with what it has.
and to top that there are so many mods in the steam workshop to get your hands on also.

its very addictive even just trying to bank some money to upgrade a car...
i get sidetracked in other events...

May I suggest the Pritchard mods from the Steam Workshop - night and day difference all round...

Some of the mods are very good yes, but to start with we will keep it to default content. so it quick and easy to set up and race..
but in the future once we get going

I'll see if I can get some of the Hooligans to step up. I can feel the stress melting away just watching and reading about this. I take it that the driving model is half decent then? I don't need sim type of stuff, but controlled drifts would be nice. Will be a blast.

Long time lurker of these forums. I would love to take part in this when it becomes available. Played a lot of wreckfest a few years ago and would like to get back into it for a bit of madness.

yep, you can do nice things with the cars, the steering inputs work real good, it just lacks that final bit of fidelity in the wheel but its perfectly acceptable in my opinion for good racing and banging doors ..
and the ffb will improve again once they get the new mesh in the tracks..
so its only going to get better, but the time it takes can be a problem but with all the latest gossip and talk they are pushing real hard now.

Remember you can buy the game from steam use it for up to 2 hours if your not impressed enough get your money back if needed with a steam return.


do not quote me on the time allowed to drive it though. please check before purchase ect..

i will go through and tag everybody before we start racing letting you all know when we start
and proper sign ups are open for official events. In the meantime look out for guys onto the open server i have put up to test and get your setting good.
