Personally, I like the monocoque-mounted rear-view mirrrors because when I player F1 Championship Edition on the PS3 and F1 2010 on PS3 and PC, the Ferrari 248 F1 had its rear-view mirrors mounted on the monocoque which brought convenience of sorts; same with the 2010 Red Bull car in F1 2010 career mode on PS3.
I wish the rules would allow for mounting based on driver preference because Schumi prefers his mirrors to be mounted on the bodywork.
