CLUB RACING for you

Ok here is your chance to pick a few cars that you would like to race in the club races, in the future
please bear in mind whilst the league is operating this class is not used as much and cars that are in the league are not eligible.

please vote and if you would like to leave a post with a particular car or cars that is ok,
feel free to discuss the cars selected with you pro's and con's , but with respect to each pothers comments.

These cars can be quite track dependant so track choice is just as important when selecting a car.
maybe you have a few good combinations you would like to see ..
Don't be shy and post away all feed back is good.
there is no right or wrong its all personal taste.
if you want to put links to cars and tracks that would be great ..BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE IT LEGAL
the three main site we use for our cars and tracks are ( CLICK ) ( CLICK ) ( CLICK )

i only voted for the American muscle cars but honestly anything is good for me. i'm searching for legal mods of American muscle cars but so far my research are in neutral as i'm waiting for answers from the mods creator but some i already indentify as illegal mods i'm hoping that some will be legal i'll keep you posted Rupe ;)

as for the tracks i don't mind they all have their challenge but i do hate some tracks tho :D

I guess default cars ( and tracks) saves a lot of time in selecting them for a race-event.

And, maybe because I am a beginner it takes al lot of time for me to learn a new car and track every week or every event. At this moment we have 2 events in a week, sometimes a total of 2 tracks and 4 different cars a week. That is to much for me. I don't mind to settle to a limited choice or less cars and tracks in one week.

But maybe my sugestions will be to boring for everybody else.

I'm probably not helpful, because I voted for the lot. :whistling:

I enjoy driving all the cars available, but I really enjoy having different ones each time, the same car or class all the time gets a bit boring for me. But I'll drive whatever is provided, Rupe. ;)

I do share some of Rene's comments, I'd prefer to minimize events where we have to download, install, and learn new tracks and cars every week. Maybe a new car or new track, but combinations every week can get a bit demanding, especially when we have download limits.

Voted for Modcars ,like to see some nice new cars,(not all; the Anglia most ugly car there is lol )
all so American Muscle the Boss302 is a great car an we did a few good races with it !
LM55 in love with these cars an all so some good races don with it !
I agree with Warren about new combo's, new car on a track we now an a new track with a car we now.

An lets not forget what we have on cars an great tracks, like to see Zandvoort can't remember when we did a race there.;)

I agree with Warren&Rene about new track/car weekly, maybe we use the same track for a month and change the make of car or class on a weekly basis like Ford week 1, BMW week 2 and so.

I'm sure we all have lots of mods that have only been raced once in club events lets bring them back out for a spin, myself I have downloaded some mods but was not able to attend the race due to my shift work :)

Voted for all classes as well, as I really enjoy the variety.
But I do agree with Rene as well, downloading and installing multiple combos within a week may be a bit much and potentially scare people away.
IIRC in the past most events had either a default car or a default track, (or both:) )
There's tons of great mods out there, I know, but remember most default content is pretty good fun as well!!

If you can't, no worries. Anyways plans could change for me and i may not be able to race. I'm satisfied enough that i will be getting a full session in on the 2nd of May.

But Nivelles would be a great track for the Datsun 240's. I've spent about 3/4 hours driving the 240 and it is a pretty good car. Once again a big  to Brickyard Legends Team for the release of another great mod. The car is quick but quite manageable, i haven't tried the Fairlady 2.4 & 2.8 but will later on tonight. There was a graphics glitch with the Fairladys

But a fix for it is now available.

The mod and patch Is now at GTL's Resourses section

Another mod that has been recently released by Brickyards Legends is the Abarth Simca 1150s

Another fun car to drive, strange to see it come with a 6 speed transmission.

The mod: Go to the GTL downloads section

Oh and another one Ford Escort MKII RS1800

Fellow members, any fellow GTL fans interested in a Sunday race which will start a bit later?

I'd like to possibly see interest from members the are in PST/CST/EST time zones but members that are in other time zones are more than welcome to join, more the merrier:)
I was also thinking Sundays would be a bit more casual:

Practice would start at 3pm PST http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
20 min practice
20 min qualify or Superpole?
Single 10 to 14 lap race depending on track?

If anyone is interested please post your feedback or suggestions here.

Hiroshi, I would be interested in that, though as far as I know I will be busy this weekend. Unfortunately I think few others would be around as most here are not from CAN/US.

On a different topic that race on the 30th looks cool, but me being available is unlikely.
