Info

• Full damage will be utilised.
• Each race event will be 2 heats, with 10 laps each heat.
• Heat 1 Normal grid (random).
• Heat 2 reverse grid.
• It will auto load Heat 2.
• Events should be no longer than 50 minutes for both heats.
• Timeout will be set to 2 minutes after the first person has crossed the line.
• Teams will be allowed. (It will be the case of picking another driver to make the team up and I will do the points after the race).
• Events will be on three consecutive Monday nights and start at 8.30pm UK time.
• Lobby will open at 8.15pm (UK Time) to allow for any connection issues.
• This will be open to all Licensed Members.
• If you are not connected by the race start time, you will not be able to race. If you get disconnected during the race, you will miss the race, unless everyone disconnects.

Many apologies to one and all for tonight.

Got home from work around 6pm to find that I couldn't get the router to connect to the internet. Phoned ISP to be informed there were issues with some connections and work was being done to bring folks back online. Got connection back around 10:10pm.

Gutted to miss it seeing as I'd been running some practice laps (albeit off the pace set by our speed freaks, lol) but it's the taking part, not the winning. Hoping no ISP woes to deny me entry to next 2 rounds.

Lovely mix of cars, lovely liveries, lovely fights with Tom and Wayne.
Race 1: Good start, running in the front and ruin the race with two offs exactly at the same corner.
Managed to recover to 5th.
Race 2: After jump to the lead made exactly the same mistake at the very same corner as the first race.
Lost the lead to Tom and from then it was totally fun.
Apologies for the hit on the first corner Tom. Fortunately you could keep in the lead and win. Well done.
As for me my engine health went orange and I lost almost 20 km top speed and the engine began
to behave a bit lazy after that, it was really fun trying to stay ahead of Wayne and Steve.

I quite enjoyed last night. Race 1 was over as soon as it started once Paulo spun out of the way. Race 2 was good to start from the back. I was really cautious though I found it difficult to get past Steve. At one point I outbraked myself getting frustrated, but that shows how good Steve is at defending. Another time I was about to shoot up the inside of Steve as he braked for the corner, this took me by surprise and ending up on his lap with engine and gearbox damage so I pitted and rejoined the race last.

This forced me to bust my ass to finish in a better position and managed to get to 5th before Tom started talking about rolling at the Schumacher S, next time I got there I clipped the inside kerb and rolled it and landed on the side again! Garry attempted to recover me and wrecked his car too. I couldn't get back to my wheels and proved to be more useful as an advertising board.

Congrats to everyone who finished and Tom for jinxing me and winning!!

Sucks that you missed out Daz. Look forward to having you on track next time. It's gutting when something comes up like that- especially when you've been looking forward to a race. It was really good racing with these cars and I'm totally looking forward to the next race. I've goes to try and get as many points as possible at Catalunya because I'm going to be a sitting duck on all those straights at Silverstone.

I enjoyed both.
R1 - started at back and pretty much stayed there. Took a lot of concentration just to keep Lotus on track!
R2 - started in second - managed to compete (defend mostly!). Got used to the handling - gentle accel the key. Had a great few laps towards the end trying to catch Paulo but just didn't manage it - almost caused a disaster at last S, end of lap 9, when I braked late and rear ended Paulo but he drove off OK and kept 3rd - i hit armco did damage but managed to get going and hold onto 4th.

I was wondering why there were ghost cars in the sand - Garry? Dan?

After race I took a Lancia out for a spin and beat my Lotus time after only two laps! Made my choice going to have to stick with it! Lotus rocks! Catalunya gives Tom home advantage? Looking forward to Silverstone ...... heh heh...

Thanks to all for last night, not been on Forza much but although being off the pace in my Supra(which I now regret choosing) enjoyed the racing.
Race 1 I had tap off Tom then I tapped Tom, my Supra must be made of cardboard I think as after these 2 taps my car was wrecked, muddled on finished a lowly 6th I think.
Race 2 Really enjoyed this 1, had some great scraps with Dan and Adrian, I think I surprised Dan with my early braking causing him to hit me, car wrecked, pitted. Then caught Adrian, took him, then went wide and he took me, caught up again then very close down straight broke to late hitting Adrian hard. Sorry Adrian, no intent mate, just my lack of ability! Pitted again with Adrian close with him again untill I ran out of ability again spinning at the s's.
Wot I enjoyed was although off the pace you can still have private battles down the field.

Absolutely no problem at all, you apologised straight away and wasn't an issue anyway. I didnt realise but my mic was on mute, so please dont think I had the arse for not saying anything!

Really enjoyed the racing, although I must admit I was a little shocked at amount of "bumping" at start of each race, having said that, its touring cars so to be expected I guess

Race 1 went fairly well considering, with me getting used to the car to be honest. 4th not too shabby.

Race 2 was looking very promising, making 3rd after a good scrap with Jim, and then I lost the back end ever so sligtly through the first chicane, just enough to throw me back onto track right into Jim's path :eek: and race was ruined.......... until that eventful scrap with Steve.

I am currently uploading a highlights vid of Race 2 to YouTube for anyone that may be interested - moved all my kit around recently, and it is a good excuse to check its all working!
