Porsche 908 LH for me please.

But I do need advice on how to drive this car.

I've noticed that the engine lits up red (damage) if you upshift without lifting your foot. The only way I can think of to prevent this is lifting my foot a bit on every upshift, but that feels like loosing time.
Is there a trick around that, or do I have to lift my foot?

    You guys are killing it!

I don't think there is a trick to it, its manual and its from 60's, I personally lift. You can really do no lift shift only on cars that have automatic engine cut out, but I don't know if any manual cars ever had that, only auto, dual clutch and newer sequential do.

I supposed you shift with paddles. In this situation, you either have to lift (as you would in reality with a manual H gearbox) or you set the revlimiter lower

I do use paddles. I will try both methods. Thanks Yohann and Eugene.

I use flappy pedals too, but I do all foot work anyway, with clutch, lifting, and blipping. If you fast enough with sequence, you wont lose any time, so just practice
