Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.
  5. So what's the plan? Are Cup drivers still signing up to help the numbers in the Champ or have we given up on that idea?

Yes, I think we need to keep the numbers up to make things interesting for the champ guys. There was a bit of an outcry about the points though so we'll have to discuss that again maybe.....
  7. Well I'm fine not being counted for points, don't want to ruin the fights they're having, but that being said...

Personally despite a lack of numbers being a tight track not the best place to be having Cup drivers tbh no offense. If can't get you in S1 then your doomed for the lap essentially.
  9. Better make sure you get them in sector 1 then ;)

  13. I think Boothy meant lapping them, not racing them.

  16. ^ This if people are racing for position the last thing you want is a guy blocking you through there who needn't be.

blue flags, move out of the way seems to work.

If you champs don't want cup drivers racing, just say so. I'm finding it hard to know if you do or don't .

  18. I have no problems with you cup guys racing with us but around Hungary is a no for me tbh It's just going to cause unnecessary issues. With other tracks there is more then 1 line to lap someone around a corner with Hungary it's just follow the leader essentially and just going to end up with someone crashing into the back of a cup guy because they brake for a corner we wouldn't.

  19. This is just racing surely.. you have all sorts of things to deal with at any race and lapping cars is one of them.

Providing drivers are careful I don't see whay there would be an issue... the Cup guys who want to 'help' fill the Champ grid are well aware not to cause issues and I am sure would get out of the way as soon as a blue flag came up... and providing the lapping driver is equally careful incidents should be avoided. You deal with whoever is on the the track at any given time and everyone has the same issues to deal with so it should even itself out.

Alternatively you could just drive the race with 5 or 6 on the grid and be done with it :whistling:
