I have the latest version of this and it shows up in the menu screen. Yet when I go into the next screen to pick the track, these cars aren't listed.

Are the cars showing inside the Vehicles folder?

I believe this mean one thing - you installed .srt file properly (into series folder) but you didn't installed cars (and probably sounds and talent files) into their appropriate folders. Double check that and, I'm sure... you're ready to go.

Everything is where it's supposed to be, or well it at least looks like it.

Really can only suggest you do another extraction of the mod to a folder then check all parts are right then copy it to the correct place. If my memory serves me right, it should be Gamedata and Series folders, but I'm not at my pc to check.

I actually corrected it by using the RF1 cam file.

Under "LocalCam=TVCOCKPIT" I replaced this:
PositionOffset=(0.00000, 0.32000, 0.24500)
OrientationOffset=(-0.3200, 0.0000, 0.00)
With this: (these are the default RF1 Penske settings)
PositionOffset=(0.00000, 0.37500, 0.22500)
OrientationOffset=(-0.30000, 0.000000, 0.0)

@Patrick Giranthon We are running a club race with this great mod tonight, and some people are reporting some crackling noise. Is there something with the latest game update v1.4 that made a lot of sounds changes? It could be only server related, it seems people get this enjoying noises online only, not offline… Anyone got similar problem since the v1.4 update? Thank you!

We use this mod for our Indianapolis race on Saturday and had no sound issues.

Racing EEC GT3 last night we got the crackling on most cars. I suspect it is the Reiza change to resample audio to 44.1KHz which is meaning the audio files for some mod cars are not fully compatible anymore. Planning to re-sample one of the affected GT3 cars audio files as a test tonight.

But you screw up (my) cams mate. And you'll lost real positions. Hmm...
You can do it on another way... try with:
LODMultiplier=(5.0000)
...this way you'll correct this and still keep all the cams on their intended (and trust me - realistic) positions.
This one and much more (new and corrected cams) other updates are ready for all of you guys.
I just wait if Patrick has any plans of updating mods.
He said earlier that he won't but I count now that he may reconsider, taking all these sound problems.
If nothing I will publish new updated onboard cams for CART Extreme as a standalone mod.

Patrick hasn't been posting in this thread since... Jan 31, 2017.
I almost feel like he's done with this beautiful (and for me in all honesty favorite) mod.
It's just a shame. Hope I'm wrong though...

Automobilista is reaching the end of its short life, as it's been known for a long time. There's not much point in him doing more work on upkeeping this mod.

Actually no, I stand corrected. The mod would benefit from an update to take advantage of the new AI parameters and improve single-player racing (since no one races this online).

Guys, I have a league setup named "SCART" and we use a custom version of this mod. We are setting up our 12th SCART championship. It will be 10-races (5 ovals / 5 road courses). Look for our AMS servers and website OnlineSimRacing.net. We use simsync to download the custom mod and tracks.

@Sam Smith we'd finally be able to run together! I still hope there's someone porting CART 1988 to Automobilista!

@Dann Murillo I actually almost joined your SCART server today, I just needed to get your league version first. I wish there would be a league using the actual available cars but beggars can't be choosers at this point. Can you PM me links, please? I will take a look now that I've stopped all other racing, although I'm about 2.5s since it's been a long time.
