CART Extreme release for Stock Car Extreme

CART Extreme is an official revision of the original Racing Line Development´s CART Factor mod for rFactor with direct participation from some of the original developers and soon available for Game Stock Car Extreme.


CART Extreme will include:
  • Several graphics improvements (updated car shaders)
  • Moveable driver arms (from TV view only)
  • Revamped physics
  • Revamped sounds
Along with all features from the original mod:
  • Full CART 1998 field (28 cars)
  • 4 unique chassis (Reynard, Lola, Swift & Penske)
  • 4 engines (Honda, Ford, Mercedes, Toyota)
  • 2 tyre manufacturers (Firestone & Goodyear)
  • 3 chassis specifications for road, short oval and speedway tracks

I think what the modders do is to generate a torque curve very steep, as to mimic what the behavior would be once the turbo kicks in.

Unfortunately, you have no actual "turbo", so you can't do any of the driving techniques associated to it (such as kicking the gas pedal to keep the turbo spooling, and reduce lag).
 
It depends on what you really want. None of them have all the things I can put.
In a way, they can be used, in another , they would deserve some work. I am working on laguna, Cleveland and Toronto but There are some difficulties with street tracks. Will do my best but i will not be able to do all I want I am afraid
 
Patrick is there going to be anyway of turning up the boost like in the original mod or no? Because if so you should make it so the AI has to run on the same boost settings as you because i think in rfactor they run full boost all the time so they cheat pretty hard lol.
