Canada GP broadcast in Britain?

Discussion in 'Formula 1' started by Philip Heck, May 26, 2014.

  1. Hey guys,

I'm from Germany but come racetime on 08/06/2014 I'll be in Britain (probably on the road in my uncle's caravan)...
What would be the best way for me to watch (or listen to) the Canadian GP?
(I thought about bringing a laptop + one of those tiny dvb-t antennae, not sure about reception, though)

    thx in advance!
  2. BBC
  3. So if my little antenna has reception I could watch BBC? Do they broadcast via DVB-T (DTT) ?

I am sure they have it on a pub somewhere? Going to the UK thats most likely the place you'll end up anywhere ;)
  5. When I said "on the road" I meant literally on the road :D

Radio 5 Live should have coverage if you're driving. If not, it'll be live on BBC One (TV). It should therefore be on iPlayer live (probably), too.
  7. Uh, iPlayer sounds nice. Sounds like I could watch it later if I might miss it.

Does BBC have this one live?

Radio 5 live in that case.
Watching a whole race on your mobile will rinse a good 1-2GB of data
  10. That's why I'll try my little TV-antenna first :p
