Can North Americans race on EU servers?

    In your experience does the latency cause issues? Is it worth trying? I see lots of car and track combinations that I would love to participate in.

    It depends on how bad the latency is. When your ping hits about 150 or so you start seeing cars "jumping" around a little bit, and you appear to "jump" around for other drivers. From there the higher it gets, the worse the jumping and that can cause crashes. I had to bail from an event due to high ping last week.

    AC helpfully displays your ping in the upper right of your screen and on the timing screen, so it's easy to check and keep track of.

    Stable ping is always fine. Issue is when it starts to float.
