I am experiencing a problem with the driving surface of my track. I used the expand surface method for creating my pit road, and now I am experiencing a rather pronounced bump on the inside of the front straight right at the start of where I drew the track (the first point). I tried to just lower the surface, thinking maybe it would help. It did not. It more or less makes the track unraceable as it has fliped open wheel cars and almost rolled closed wheel cars.

Ideas on how to possibly fix this?

Sounds like a kink caused by expanding the track causing the panels to overlap, have a look at the wireframe and see if this is so, if it is, try increasing the panel length or add more sections and smooth the transition.
If this doesn't help, can you post a screenshot of it with the wire frame visible?
