Wow, I remember paying like $800 for my FX-55 years ago! I just upgraded from a single 570 GTX to a couple of ATI 6970's in Crossfire. But I would need a new mobo to run the Bulldozer. But after reading some of the initial reviews, looks like I'm content to stay with my i7. The bulldozer still gets soundly beaten by Intel's quad/six core cpu's. And even by 6 core Phenoms.

Yeah fair point, I have just read the review myself.
I think its going to be a while yet before they can improve on the "Bulldozer" architecture and for the software to reap the benifits of this new way of architecture proccessing.
Think I will stay with my AMD Phenom II X6 1100T for a little while, at least till it all gets into play with everything.
Maybe when I need to upgrade my board I will look at it again.

Shame init, all this wait for what, a slightly better but more power consuming cpu erm!!!
