Best rally training in-game

Discussion in 'Richard Burns Rally' started by Azfalt Raser, May 20, 2015.

  1. I have been a huge fan of WRC, even though my main interests lies with roadracing.

I recently saw an opinion saying that RBR had the best in-game rally training of all the Rally games on the market, even though the graphics were dated.

    Is this true?
Which version of RBR is the best one for rally training?
Or what Rally game has the best in-game rally training module?

    Thanks for your input.

  2. Can I point out to you that RBR is not a game, its a rally simulator.

To my knowledge, RBR is the only Rally Sim with a descent Training section.
You only need the base RBR, (none of the mods are needed for training), and just go to the Rally School, found in-game. In fact, you can't even run any of the main rally's until you run at least part of the Rally School.
What you learn from the Rally School is invaluable.

All you need to get started is the base RBR (you can pick it up for a song these days) and the two official Patches. Basically, just follow steps 1 and 2 here:

You will then also have the best Rally Sim on the market, even today.

  4. My apologies. That is what I meant and that is why I am seeking the version that has the training module.

@Warren Dawes Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
