Beginner friendly how to make mods?

Im looking into getting into Modding for MSC.
But all the Tutorials i found arent very beginner friendly.
The one included in this Forum either.
The wiki of MSCLoader wasnt rly usefull either.

Is there out there an updated and beginner friendly Guide?
Or is maybe someone willing to teach me?

I have 2 ideas for Mods that should be very simple and beginner friendly.

1.) Insurance: If the house burns down, I would like to a Letter appear at the Front door, for when u click it, u can “restore” the house for a certain amount of money.
(It seems simple enough as it just need to change a Boolean. It probably requires a save and load aswell)

2.)Poop / water places Basically just copy paste one of the existing ones and past them in the desired location.
