ATI 5850/70 prices in US

    Christopher, I would be going to New York, tigerdirect doesnt have a store there. Since I'll only be going for a few days, I was thinking of going to a store over there and buy one. Tigerdirect selling ATI 5850 XFX card for just $299. A saving of £50/60 with the prices over here. Hoping its the same price instore over there @ $299.

    Tiger is typically one of the cheapest. CompUSA is what were formerly Tiger outlet stores and are comparable.

    BestBuy has VisionTek 5850 for $290 and 5870 for $390 and ASUS 5870 for $430 (slightly faster RAMDAC speed)

    (There are at least a couple of BestBuy's in Manhattan, if that's where you're going)
