For me steam download was about 4MB/s
(still slow, usually I get about 14 MB/s).

AC Early Access asked me to delete this folder and I agreed, so I thought it deleted the folder.

i just uninstalled the preview

Ok. I deleted the directory manually and the game started. But I forgot to set controls. So I went back to options, assigned CSW, CSP and TH8 shifter. When I try to load track, I have the same problem. It goes back to menu.

Money well spent :/

Control options are extremely limited though, nothing for HUD elements, adjust driver seat position, pit requestt/limiter, instant replay etc like I've become used to in rfactor.

I have a fresh copy of Windows 8 installed, never had the TP on it.

Assign all your inputs (gas, brake, shift up and down and so on). It helped me.
