Kunos Simulazioni have confirmed the much anticipated Ferrari 70th Anniversary DLC for Assetto Corsa, plus opened up voting to choose the seventh model to be included in game.

Already revealed as part of the end of year community post from the developers of Assetto Corsa, Kunos have now revealed the first six models due to form the base of the eagerly anticipated Ferrari 70th Anniversary DLC pack coming to the game this year.

Confirmed as in development and due for a release "fall 2017", the premium Ferrari celebration DLC will add to the game seven brand new models from the Prancing Horse, with cars representing a range of historic and iconic machinery from the great Italian manufacturers.

EDIT 21.6.17: It appears that Kunos have made a mistake launching the poll this early and have since closed the option of voting, prior to an official announcement and some further teaks to the vote mechanism. Hold tight for more info as and when available...

The full car list revealed as forming the upcoming DLC are:

The F575 is not a competitor to MC12 of Assetto Corsa. Nor the 550.

The MC12 of Assetto have only 580 hp engine, competes against the GT2/E cars of Assetto Corsa.

The Maserati of 2004 season, as a example, have a 650 hp engine. Just look to laptimes, for example. The qualy laptimes of 2007 and 08 with the same layout of today was both better than the RSR record (and a record made exploring the best grip and temperature conditions, very rarely on Spa. The laptime of 2009 was slower. So, if Kunos will make a 2003 F575 will not compete against a MC12 with a nerfed engine. The MC12 of Assetto Corsa probably have some kind similar a BOP.

Wonderful example of PR deflection.
Press release yesterday; cannot get the Xbox game to work.
Press release today; lovely Ferrari's for you.
Nothing wrong with that, that is how the world works...
Spin...
Good fun to view from afar.
Still, I love Ferrari so whatever car wins, will be fine.
Officially the poll hasn't been announced as open for voting today.

Beyond that, the Ferrari DLC and vote was announced a good while ago now, it shouldn't come as surprise to anyone that there's still paid DLC scheduled for this year. And console and PC development still have different release schedules with porting to consoles taking longer. Just because the Xbox version has some patch release problems for whatever reason doesn't mean it has to keep up everything else.

Spin....
Spin, because you have knowingly missed a few facts out...
You don't work for them, so why Spin for them..?
Like I said, funny from afar.

For those who are commenting on the BMW M6, the post is not about it but if I remember Kunos announced a British pack, so being doesn't make sense to put the M6 in this Ferrari DLC nor in British DLC, which makes me think that will have another DLC not yet announced that should be released this year

Don't get your hopes up about another British Pack.....not gonna bother going to hunt down the exact post by AC staff in their forum its right now 730+ pages long.

Long story short ac staff said that last british pack was it and there was no more in works.

The BMW M6 GT3 is probably something that will be packaged with Laguna Seca dlc along with Alfa.

I think if there is any GT1 cars out there that would go up against the Maserati, The DBR9 and the Lambo would be top of the list. GT1 is probably the golden age of GT racing (In terms of exotic supercars) But the GT3 cars we have today is probably the golden age of competition as its so closely contested

When it comes to more contemporary GT racing, I'd say '96 was the golden age. I love those BPR GT cars. We've got the McLaren, would love for it to get some playmates like the F40 or the Venturi...
