Kunos Simulazioni have confirmed the much anticipated Ferrari 70th Anniversary DLC for Assetto Corsa, plus opened up voting to choose the seventh model to be included in game.

Already revealed as part of the end of year community post from the developers of Assetto Corsa, Kunos have now revealed the first six models due to form the base of the eagerly anticipated Ferrari 70th Anniversary DLC pack coming to the game this year.

Confirmed as in development and due for a release "fall 2017", the premium Ferrari celebration DLC will add to the game seven brand new models from the Prancing Horse, with cars representing a range of historic and iconic machinery from the great Italian manufacturers.

EDIT 21.6.17: It appears that Kunos have made a mistake launching the poll this early and have since closed the option of voting, prior to an official announcement and some further teaks to the vote mechanism. Hold tight for more info as and when available...

The full car list revealed as forming the upcoming DLC are:

Be warned, you can only select one car and once you have cast your vote you will no longer be able to change your choice.

You can visit the voting page by following the link HERE. Voting closes June 30th.

For F*ck sake... Kunos don't even make the best F1 car in AC... Race Sim Studios 2017 car is such an engaging and fun experience it blows the F138 and the SF-15T out the water... At the end of the day i knew it would win. Its current and its easy to pick...
Just because you prefer the modded f1 2017 car in terms of speed and driving sensation, you're saying the physics of the f138 and sf-15t are bad?
It could have nothing to do with the fact that the real f1 2017 car is also better or more enjoyable compared to the real 2013 and 2015 cars?

Probably went a bit over the top with the last post... But i find the Kunos F1 cars to be unpredictable. Do the same thing each lap and it will have a different result nearly each time. I find the RSS car to be reliable and trustworthy when it comes to driving it, Probably because i'm sh!t. My opinion is not worth anything anyway but I just prefer the RSS car. Who knows Kunos might do this car well.

Let´s see what we will get:

250 GT: a famous historic one. We will have fun races with Cobra.
330 P/4: an absolute icon in race car design, what a beauty. And has three friends to race against: GT 40, 908 LH and the T70.
312/67 hey an formual 1 car that rocks! Jim Clarks Lotus was waiting too long for his old V12 rival. No little helpers, no aero.. ahhh that´s racing of a glorious era of motorsports with heroic drivers on the wheel. And there is the movie Grand Prix... Monza with the banking is waiting...

but what use have the others.

Ok, we could play Magnum on the pacific coast mod.

The F2004... for the Schumi fans.

But the other two, what use have they in AC for longer terms? None.

There where so much more usefull and so much more iconic cars on the list. What a fail.

Why? It's by far the fastest car there, aren't you curious about what it's like to drive what is essentially the fastest race car ever made?

Tbh with you? Not really...

Don't get me wrong, i was a huge F1 enthusiast back in the day but i have just moved on, because i have found my true love in GT and Endurance racing. ;)

Also, they have already released the F1 Cars from 2013 and 2015 in the Redpack + the F2004 in the upcoming DLC.

Not to mention there is already a fantastic F1 2017 Mod available by Race Sim Studio

So, as you can see, i don't need the new Ferrari F1 Car at all. Everyone has a different taste and i'm sure, there are a lot of people who are happy and excited about the new Car. ;)

get over it, good chance those other cars might come in another dlc
I don't think so, i asked this question in Marco Massarutto's FB

Felippe Kiss Any chance of having more than one dlc, just like what happened with Porsche? I don't know how licensing works but I think the community would be very grateful because many of the cars that people would have the most interest could be included after all 15% flew on the SF70H but 85% didn't, that means that most people wouldn't have interest in Ferarri F1 2017

Marco Massarutto Because AC already includes 11 iconic Ferrari cars, and it will reach 18 models with the Celebration Pack. More than 11% of the total number of cars will be Ferrari models. Fair enough.

For people saying the RSS Formula is fine you are forgetting the console crowd does not have access to mods.

I didn't particularly want it to win but I knew it would. As soon as I saw it on the list it was a given that would be the chosen car.

And I made on the opposite way. When I drove GTR 2 many years ago, I just prefered GT cars. F550 for me was just one of my favorite race cars on a sim.

Then become Assetto Corsa and I had a new chance to experiment some F1 cars on a sim and this made me full passionate about F1 cars. For me AC reveals something about F1 cars that old sims didnt. And also, my prefered mods are F1 mods, I donate and bought some of them like the Hybrid 2017 by Race Sim Studio.

The cars have changed too. The 2003/4 F550 was very different than anything on Assetto Corsa. Probably, the physics on these sims make me see more differences than they are on real life, and Maserati MC12 probably is not so different thant F550. The GT2/E and GT3 cars almost of them are boring to me compared to F550 on GTR2, but, this is only my personal opinion.

People voted with his personal feelings. There is no such thing like a absolute best car that some specialist that know some others dont will claim that he is right about even the opinions of others. That is the worst thing about this open vote, people gets so angry because believes knows more than the rest of the people. All they have differents opinions, just that.

Such a shame. But on 2017 is time for Kunos thinking about Assetto Corsa 2 or other project. So, buy licenses now for AC1 that will not always be valid for AC2 can be a wrong decision to do. I have sure that they want more Ferrari cars, they are italians, the sim is a italian one, there is not problem to do many Ferrari, Lamborghinis and others italian brands on their sim. Ironic, there are too many Lotus and Porsche, not italian brands.
