Kunos Simulazioni have confirmed the much anticipated Ferrari 70th Anniversary DLC for Assetto Corsa, plus opened up voting to choose the seventh model to be included in game.

Already revealed as part of the end of year community post from the developers of Assetto Corsa, Kunos have now revealed the first six models due to form the base of the eagerly anticipated Ferrari 70th Anniversary DLC pack coming to the game this year.

Confirmed as in development and due for a release "fall 2017", the premium Ferrari celebration DLC will add to the game seven brand new models from the Prancing Horse, with cars representing a range of historic and iconic machinery from the great Italian manufacturers.

EDIT 21.6.17: It appears that Kunos have made a mistake launching the poll this early and have since closed the option of voting, prior to an official announcement and some further teaks to the vote mechanism. Hold tight for more info as and when available...

The full car list revealed as forming the upcoming DLC are:

What is more Kunos have confirmed that a seventh unannounced car will be added to the pack, and the community have been given the opportunity to cast their vote against several models Kunos have receive permission to reproduced for the racing simulation. Be warned, you can only select one car and once you have cast your vote you will no longer be able to change your choice.

You can visit the voting page by following the link HERE. Voting closes June 30th.

Remember iRacing you need to spend $12-15 for each car and track, plus a membership. I think getting a bunch of cars for like $10 in AC is pretty good.

Back on track... will they bring the vote back up?

Console gamers having a feeling that Kunos duped them doesn't make it true. Kunos has never developed for a console before, there's going to be roadblocks. When you buy a product from a company with no experience in that market, you have to expect that. It sucks, but that's reality. The PC version has a lot of features missing that most would expect in a modern racing sim, too. This is not a triple A title. It was never meant to be, and it never will be. Almost all of us on the PC side understand this, and we bought into AC warts and all.

The continous supply of DLC exists because we want it. It has nothing to do with the console release, and it's not like we are the only ones getting the DLC - consoles get it, too. You guys just get it later because dropping content and patches for consoles is time consuming and expensive, and there's no reason to force the PC crowd to wait for you. Kunos isn't out to screw you over. They're trying. They're in new territory.

I get that you've paid for a product that isn't working as intended. That sucks. But why should those of us on other platforms do without new content that we want because your experience isn't at the same level? You bought a product from a company that has never done this before, on a platform that has massive limitations when it comes to updating and fixing.

Furthermore, how would holding out DLC content improve the console experience at all? You do realize that coders and 3D artists are different people, right? If the experience on console is already subpar, you definitely don't want the 3D guys to be coding anything for you. I see this kind of flawed logic constantly among the gaming communities - people whining about another content update when certain features individuals want are missing. The argument makes no sense at all, different people work on different aspects of the game. Withholding DLC just means you're paying the 3D guys to sit and do nothing while the programmers work.

And, thanks! I will definitely enjoy the new DLC when it drops. The first 4 cars listed are some of my all time favorites. I hope you'll enjoy them when the time comes, as well. They're wonderful vehicles.

I'm glad you are going joy the DLC, I probably will too as I'm also a PC player.

A more sensible reply than most but you repeat a number of tired arguments.

If Kunos didn't have the expertise to release on Xbox there is a Preview programme for exactly this kind of experimentation. Using that system the willing customers know the product is in development and expect the type of delays we have seen. Just as we all did on PC with Early Access. Full release games are not the place to experiment - unless you are willing to accept the backlash.

Where the resources of such a small company are directed will make a huge difference. We are often told how just a few individuals are the power behind this game yet none seem to be part of the console team. The same is true for leadership interest and effort. The Lord admits he has little to do with the console version but we are also told he is the genius behind most of the coding. Almost certainly part of the problem, teams generally follow their leaders' behaviour.

There is also the issue of perception management, Kunos's perceived value jumped massively on the release of the game on the consoles. Announcing the Xbox delay and then a day later the PC DLC, some more thought could go into the strategy.

There is an awful lot of social conformity going on in these threads and little more critical evaluation would go a long way.

A link on our website became publicly visible accidentally in the middle of the night that was picked up by someone, and then eagle-eyed RD made a huge post around it, which obviously gained larger visibility than it normally would have. There was no such strategy and mistakes happen, the vote and people's ability to vote will not be affected, meanwhile the Xbox delay is a completely different issue, but other areas of the game will need to move on. I'd gladly fix all the Xbox-related problems in one day, but my job is to create content, as well as several other colleagues' of mine.

BTW let me remind you that the primary purpose of this thread is about inciting hate over road vs. racing cars and "my dad's F50 is bigger than your dad's F50", so you're slightly derailing things.

No social conformity; I can just see the situation for what it is - a dev team that with no prior experience in the console market making some mistakes. I make absolutely no excuses for the situation at all - but I'm also not going to pretend that it's some conspiracy to screw over console players for the benefit of the PC players.

The social conformity comment wasn't aimed at you, you show some balance. Not so much a case of screw over console users, more a case of them now being good to their word and delivering the 'same experience as pc' as advertised.

Thanks for your sensible replies and reasoned debate.

Back on topic - enjoy your vote when it opens.

BTW, sudden new update 1.14.4 for AC. Here's the changelog:
- Improved Ferrari 312T and Lotus 72D AI
- Renamed CPU line in Render Stats app "MAIN_T" as "Main thread" to avoid confusions
- Corrected Mercedes C9 front tyre wear
- Corrected Glickenhaus SCG003 setup dampers slider numbering
- Improved live axle simulation
- Updated live axle physics for Alfa Romeo GTA, Ford Escort RS, Maserati 250F 6cyl & 12cyl, Toyota AE86 stock, drift & tuned. Old setups might need to be tweaked again.

- Added seconds in timeline when replay length is over 1 hour
- Fixed Delta Graph script on Mclaren P1 GTR
- Real-life racing liveries added for the Maserati MC12 GT1

Sweet Jesus they've added the 2017 SF70H
Seriously you could make a second set of cars from that list.
I think the 488 GTE, the Enzo or some others shouldn't be on the voting list but be guaranteed for later DLCs.
