Who remembers this amazing game? My introduction to Formula 1. I think it might happen quite a lot these days that the game comes first, then the sport.

I never cared about F1 until this game came out. It changed everything.

Myself and my brother daily drove 100% races, with computer taking over from player to player. I remember the Mexican race. As we were coming to the end, fuel levels were so low, we were breaking lap records over and over as the car became lighter. Corners became faster and faster.

The experience of a full race was sensational. It really did feel like a full two-hour experience as cold tyres became warm, then hot. Backmarkers, flags, man it was an incredible sim.

My love for F1 came from this sim.

He would always take Senna and Berger at McLaren, while I would drive Brundle and Blundell at Brabham. Great times.
