Qualification: 18.45 GMT / 19.45 UK / 20.45 Europe (10 mins)
Race: 18.50 GMT / 19.50 UK / 20.50 Europe (11 laps)

Note3: These are fun races, not competetive, just race the people around you. Winning is a secondary concern, this event is to have some nice dicing with people around your own pace in various different models.
Note4: With regard to the above Note - No Models Are Banned - but let's try and see a decent spread of models across the grid please.
Note5: There will be prizes - "The Nurbys" - for the best spread of vehicles, the best performance in a slower model, most spectacular crash, longest roof slide, etc.
Note6: People choosing 3 cars from the top of the performance charts in that class will be named and shamed.

They're some awesome screen shots Stuart... Can't believe the amount of people running the CSL in GTC-76! Didnt realise it was snowing at the 'ring!

jag - hhhhhmmmmzzzz.... nice and easy to drive... knew there must be a catch somewhere.... am guessing it was generously slower than the competition it faced on the grid... am usually way down - but only about 2 or so secs off the pace (in equal cars)... but the gap was much bigger here - even with a nailed lap... cocked the start for a refreshing change... that 3-2-1-GO!.... whhhyyy????... so had a s&g immediately... pretty much lost the will to live at that point...

alpine... very very tasty.... this has gone top of the list in my inventory of league weaponry... but i've still got test, uh, the other four :becky:.... can't remember exactly... ah yes... got a s&g for cutting... there was bit of track that sticks out just after t4... and the rules were merciless!... ahow, i was running ahead of croucher and hans... took the penalty... was just starting to reel them in... spin.... was just starting to reel them in... spin... gah... no more laps....

csl - beastie!... thought i had it kinda half-tamed... bit me hard during the race itself... ho ho ho...

i love these races in the differing light conditions... said it afore on ts last week... but gtl is graphically way more beautiful than evo... mmmmmmzzzzzz.... (anti-hypocrite disclaimer: ahem, not that graphics are important)

looking forward to sat... and to ze league! :dog:

Yep, when the old girl hoists her petticoats and gets a lick on, she's quick in the straights (like Alfa & Cortina quick, not as rapid as the Stang or Falcon), but she's a bit wobbly on her pins round the bends, you have to thrash the tits off her in 4 wheel drifts to even keep up.

Race 1, doing well with the Cortina to stay ahead of the Falcon, clip the pitlane barrier at the end of Lap 1, roll, race over, hehe

Race 2, took the E-Type because I thought it would be a bit more matched to the "league" cars everyone else was testing, turned out it wasn't, hehe, took off like a scalded cat and never looked back, P1 at end, surprised because I didn't loop it, lol

Race 3, came in with a Capri because Amir had asked me to, was quickish in it but decided last minute to take a 911 for a change, bad move, no setup of my own, reasons to follow*, tried sticking some one else who I rate as a decent driver's setup on it and it sucked, didn't match my driving style, pushed like a bulldozer, wrong brake strength/bias etc. but I stuck with it and managed to get a 3rd, happy.

*reasons: I just did a decent uprade on my machine, BFG GTX285 OCX, Samsung 2433bw, 8gig OCZ Platinum 800mhz, 500gig HD and Vista 64 bit but left XP on my orig HD for dual boot just in case, 1 week later I loose the XP HD and Vista decides it wont run,:damnit: I assume it must have been using XP boot, and I'd just moved all my BU stuff onto the new Vista HD, had to re-install so lost every single file I'd collected in the last year or so, just managed to get GTL installed and running, like a bag of **** BTW I need help from anyone who has it running well on V64:call-me:, hadn't even tested it properly before joining last night, using D3D overrider to force TB and Vsinc had a constant 60fps but stuttering like a confronted felon. HELP!!!
