AI path issues and how do I create an ai hints file ?

    Created an AI path for the Barber track that Rigel is working on. Drove several laps in the Audi A1, ran a practice race against other AI driving the same car, everything was fine.

    I then switched to the Carrera S, the AI as well and they make one lap with no problems,, next lap they over shoot T1 and pile up in the sand pit. Is this where an ai hints file is needed to make the faster cars brake earlier ?

    I think I sorted it out.. found this video




    Have to find the PoT numbers to determine where the AI should slow down

    Download this app and it will give you a detailed PoT. Default AI app shows it too but not enough decimal places.

    Got the PoT to adjust T1 braking, although I think the issue is the start/finish line is too close to T1. Every other turn on the track they handle perfectly.

    Add a danger flag for the right side of t1 and see if that helps. I had to add some danger flags to RIR since the last AI update.

    An entry in the ai_hints file similar to this, although with different PoT values. The Left and Right entries determine how much the AI brake pending what side of the track they are on ?

    What track is that from? Kunos tracks I've only seen 1 or 0

    AI dont seem to be braking before they hit the gravel trap, haha. The right side AI boundary is correct. Although as you can see the start/finish line is within the braking zone

    Yeah that's a strange one. I don't have the latest build from Rigel otherwise I would take a look.

    S/F is in the wrong place and is likely causing the issue with cars that need to brake earlier. S/F should be back where the tower is and it damn near right at the entrance of T1 now.

    Yup that is what someone else suggested the problem was. I'll message Rigel and ask him to move it

    New version with moved Start/Finish line. AI drive a proper line through T1 now
