Is there any where to adjust the AI difficulty level without turning on some of the driving assists? I can't keep up with the AI set to professional :(

You can drop to semi pro and then turn them off, can't you?

Stuart is right. Use the function keys to turn the aids off and if you are unsure of what is on or off go to chase view and check the hud.

The AI is sometimes ridiculously fast, there's a setting in your .plr file that reads"AI Driver Strength=100", so perhaps lowering that would help? (Haven't tried this yet though!)

The game overrides manual editing of this line (it would be a cheat).

all set using the "F1", "F2" etc. keys.

I generally turn them all off, just leaving Autoclutch on.
