ADAC GT Masters Experience

I think, between the next ADAC GT Masters competitions it needs a small balancing update. Actually the Ford GT GT3 is dominating the Red Bull competition. Perhaps it is a track, where the Ford GT works better than other cars.
My first run was with the Corvette Z06 and after that, i was trying to beat that laptime with the Nissan GT3. After about 20 laps i gave up with that car, because i couldn't nearly beat my personal best. Then i took the Ford GT3 for a run and i was beating my best laptime just after 3 laps. After a few more laps i was about half a second faster than with the Vette.

0.5 second is OK. The difference in the real GTmasters is 3 seconds.
I agree that 0.5 seconds aren't that much. And of course i know, that the difference between the cars can be quite track-dependent.

Nevertheless i strongly disagree, that the real GT Masters have differences of 3 seconds in laptimes. Their BoP is quite good and looking at the last race at the Lausitzring all makes/manufacturers were within 1 second regarding to their best laps. (....besides the McLaren, but there's only one in the field and therefore not representative)

If you look at the qualifying times, it was 3 seconds.

The fastest was 1.21.003 and the slowest 1.24.631
Don't compare only the drivers. There are always faster and slower drivers. ;)

Fastest BMW Z4: 1:21.003
Fastest Corvette: 1:21.167
Fastest Audi R8: 1:21.321
Fastest Porsche: 1:21.329
Fastest Mercedes: 1:21.510
Fastest Camaro: 1:22.096
Fastest McLaren: 1:22.452

And just to mention .... the conditions in Qualifying were a little bit difficult, because of the light rain.
