A small wish

This may have been up earlier, but a search and nothing came up so:

I have a small wish about the casual racing events. I would like to see an event with any layout of Le Mans being used. I absolute love Le Mans.

Is this something to hope for or is it doomed?

I don't want to hijack your post Daniel.

But how about this as an idea if it's not been used before...

Have a server with 30 slots...

Everyone runs 1 car and gets their laps times...

This is then how the event breaks down.

Top 10 have GT Pros.

Next 10 have GT Sports

Next 10 have GT Club..

Or something like that. GT1's then GT2's and then another...

Even if it's GT1's, Top end Radicals and then something else...

Is that what you mean or not?

If not. How was that for an idea????

The idea is cool indeed. Kinda similar to real life racing at Le Mans

Anyway, my idea was just pretty much, that all pick a car from GT PRO and then we run a race with maybe 10 laps?

But anything works for me

But it's up to an Admin to see if they would like to see it and host it.

As I said, I've got it all written down of cars, track and how it would run.

I've passed it to some of the guys I have on Steam and they said it was an excellent idea.

but Daniel was the one who sparked me with it.

Mixed class GT racing in RACE Series will be making a comeback in the next few weeks and has been planned for a while. We will probably be using 2 classes and running similar formats to the events previously run by Remco Last year. Check out the club forum for the old events.

In the meantime if you want some more serious mixed class racing, might be worth seeing if you can find a drive with one of the RDLMS teams.

Well. It's a no for RD as they have the RDLMS Series.

So as my mate has a 100 upload and download connection. He said he's going to run my idea.

So what i'll do is set it up and get some of the RD guys in on it, i'll invite some of the RD Admins to have a look on how it's set up and run and see if they like the idea.

I'll send you a PM Daniel on how it's all set up.

I ran it past 8 people on my Steam yesterday and went through the ideas and they said that it was a great idea for Race On / GTR Evo.

If any of the Admins would like to hear the idea in full. Just send me a pm and i'll be happy to send you the details.

If you like what you hear, i'll be happy to give it to RD. I know the format I have been working on will work really well.
