You're done. :)

You can proceed the same way for my other mods you found on step 4.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (WINDOWS)
  1. Download PART1 and PART2 on your computer. Both parts are necessary.
  2. Right-click MM 2016 Mod 1.x.x.part1.rar and uncompress it.
  3. Part 2 will be uncompressed automatically. You should now have a folder MM_Data with the installer right next to it.
  4. Launch the installer and follow instructions.
If the installer does not work for you, simply copy/paste the MM_Data folder into your Motorsport Manager folder.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (MAC) - Thanks to Mr Peugeot and Alon2o
    • Download PART1 and PART2. Both parts are necessary.
    • Create a folder anywhere and put both mod files in this new folder
    • Open Part_1 of the .rar file with an extractor (I use The Unarchiver but I’m assuming any upzip program will work)
    • Don’t worry about Part_2. The extractor will have included that without you seeing it.
    • You will get a folder called MM_Data.
    • Open finder
    • Command + Shift + G
    • Library / Application Support
    • Click on go
    • Steam
    • /Steamapp
    • /Common
    • /Motorsport Manager
    • Right click
    • View the contents of the package
    • Home
    • Resources
    • Data
    • Replace the resource.assets file with the one in the MM_Data you obtain in step 5.
    • Open StreamingAssets folder
    • (Download and in data)
    • Then replace only the Champ1.bk2 files
    • Champ2.bk2
    • Champ3.bk2
    • And replace the TeamIntroMovies folder

FAQ:
- After I installed the mod, the drivers, teams and staff are fake and all logos are original ones.
You didn't activate the mod "layer" on the Workshop. Please do so as stated above.
- My game crashes during or after launch / I get a black screen then nothing.
Make sure you run the last version of the game on steam.
Go to Steam then right click on Motorsport Manager>Properties>Local Files>Verify integrity of game cache. This will synchronize your game to server version which is always the last version available.

- I don't see the car liveries. Rest is working fine.
Liveries do not work in 2d Mode. Turn on 3d mode.
- How can I change logos/team names/... myself?
Download Unity Assets Bundle Extractor and open resources.assets with it. Extract textures or textassets with the "plugin" button on the left. Modify things and import file back using the same "plugin" button.
Logos are in logos1@1080. Practice and Quali Times are in simulationsettings.

The Mod is amazing. Keep doing this job is fantastic your work at now i havent any problem with my game, but if happens something with this new mod in my original game i tell.

Grear Work Enzoli nice stuff. Congrat from Portugal Fans F1 :D;);)

I re installed the game did it again and the same happened

Not saying it's happening to you but just throwing it out there, I have had games where it couldn't write to save the game because the folder it was in was write protected or I changed it to run as administrator.

One game I could play for ages and not until I finished a stage and it had to write to disk it would seize up. It was Head over Heels from memory and I moved it out of the Program Files directory and it was fine.

I just wanted to check, you created track movies with the actual tracks but the in-game play is still the original fake tracks? I haven't tried the mod yet as i'm trying to get through everything in Vanilla first. If it is the fake one, whats the chances of ever modding tracks?

It is not possible to mod tracks. You can change their names, their images in menu, their length and the order but it's impossible to modify them or create new ones.
In order to do so, you'd have to access files in the resources.assets that are impossible to edit so far.
And even if someone manage to get access to this, which would be a miracle already, you'd still be left with no editor or friendly interface or tools to modify things.

Cheers, thanks for the reply, its about what I thought really. Hopefully in the future they will allow us to do something with the workshop or maybe someone will figure a way to mod them in the future. I'm pretty happy with the fantasy tracks but would just be nice to have more.

That's about it unfortunately. This game was built with Unity. Which is a fantastic sort of prebuilt engine allowing many people to develop games quicker with smaller teams and budgets. But when it comes to modding, it's a pain in the a**. All assets are compressed mainly in one file and not editable as you like.
And remember that if all the mods already published here are available, it's thanks to one guy that built a little utility capable of extracting text and textures. Otherwise it would be basically impossible too.
You're not going to like what I'll say but I do not think the workshop will allow many things and certainly not track editing.
I think people will be mostly disappointed by this workshop as they're expecting to get the keys to change everything.
But Unity does not allow that. The workshop will be very limited I think and it will certainly not allow you as much as Unity Asset Bundle Extractor allow us already.
So to me it's pointless. Sure it will allow you to organize teams as you like and put your name as a driver if you fancy it but other than that, the different mods available here already allow better results.

About the tracks, I've read that developers said the design process of one single track was taking a team of designers overs few weeks already. So I don't think they will release a DLC with more tracks. Too much input for very small output.

To finish on a more positive note. I believe devs will come back with a Motorsport Manager 2 some day (maybe not this year) and hopefully, it will be built using another engine.

well, the puzzle of F1 grid comming along this days. The only question is.... will Manor stay on grid, which i believe is 50/50 at most. Just courious... will you wait with 2017 edition, until teams reveil their cars (liverys 2017) ? :D ...with this scenario.....car launches are set for last week of february, so...we can play this version for another month or so
