The haas looks extremely dull and simplistic. Simple can look great, just look at the eternal marlboro red and white mclaren livery but this looks like something your average sim racer would do with the iracing template editor in 20 seconds. I hope it is a launch livery and not the real deal...

And just one sponsor decal on the car? Richard mille on the side of the nose? (and pirelli on the top although i think that is what everyone needs to have).

expect 2016 to be another uneventful year of f1 more of the same merc dominance, though i will watch every race.
for 2017, it sounds like there may be some major improvements made to the sport.

I seriously wonder why livery design is so uninspired, especially compared to some previous eras. Is it just that when they all had ciggie brands they had the marketing genius of those people pushing them to do something cool?

I actually like the Sauber car these days but if you think about it they were one of the most boring the last few years until they started using Chelsea FC's royal blue. Seriously, its all about which sponsors you have apparently. Teams themselves are clueless.

even worse for the overall design: the huuuuge splitters in front. if one could take half of those off and revert to sth. like this

i think the overall appearance of the cars would change dramatically for the better. as it is, the "noses" are just bits of carbonfibre to hold those huuuuge surfboards up front.
