Yeah that really sucks. Especially for the fast guys in other countries. I'd of liked to have had a shot at the fanatec stuff also. Not being eligible really makes the lapping a chore knowing even if you climb the board it doesn't matter.

I think they don't want people from other continents entering the final race because of their high ping. They surely want to use the footage for PR and certain cars lagging around don't make a good impression.

Like with most things, I get why they're doing it but it's not good to alienate your customer base like this, even if you do have a reason for it.

It kinda sucks that I've spent over $100 on this game yet I'm being neglected for this event because I was born on the wrong continent. Hopefully S3 will be able to bring more events to their international customers.

Update the standing after the first round(points).

Apparently,real DTM drivers are present in the ranking but they also keep their points.Their positions should disappear after the final ranking.
No-resident players in Europe are included in the ranking.What a player resident?For example,an American player living in France,can he participate at final multiplayer race?

I would like to know, why a lot of people have +1.22, (the best one 1.22.4), when the last year the best times in real DTM, qualy, were:
1. Robert Wickens CAN AMG Mercedes C-Coupe 1min 25.175secs
2. Timo Glock GER BMW Team MTEK M4 1min 25.181secs
3. Marco Wittmann GER BMW Team RMG 1min 25.228secs

That´s almost 4 seconds faster than real life !!!

Virtual world will never equal the reality.
Players,who make the same lap times as the real DTM drivers,will tell you that it is closer to reality.
