Round Results & Standings

The second half of the 2013 FSR Fantasy League kicked off with one of the closest rounds ever! The FSR Fantasy League has a new round winner, Great Britain's Sam Jones. With his Cucumber Racing team, Sam scored the highest round score of the season so far, 101 points, with his lineup consisting of Bono Huis, Ivar Kalamees, Samuel Libeert and Peter Varga. However, he wasn't the only one with that score. Finland's Mikko Puumalainen was 2nd also with 101 points but a 100$ more expensive team. Czech Republic's Ondrej Kuncman, meanwhile, tied the Finn in points and cost with an identical lineup, but Puumalainen's choice to place Libeert and Kalamees in Teams A and B respectively while Kuncman decided otherwise, left Kuncman 3rd by a single Team A point, after the 2nd tie-breaker criterion was applied. A thrilling battle!

Mikko Puumalainen has now taken the lead of the championship standings for the first time since the opening round. He has 535 points, just 6 more than Ondrej Kuncman, who is now 2nd (529 points). Former leader Franz Schnyder dropped to 3rd but is just 13 points behind the leader (522 points) in the quest for the Thrustmaster Y-250C Gaming Headset. David Dominguez remains a close 4th on 513 points.

Sam Jones joins Ondrej Kuncman (x2), Franz Schnyder, Javier Álvarez, Wim van Velden, David Dominguez and Benjamin Chong as a contender for the other Thrustmaster Y-250C Gaming Headset that will be drawn among all round winners at the end of the season.

Driver Results & Costs

Winning four-in-a-row, Bono Huis was once again the top scorer of the round, with 48 Fantasy points. Poleman Samuel Libeert scored 31 points to become the round's 2nd top scorer, while 2nd-place finisher Ivar Kalamees was just behind on 30 points.

Bono Huis (234 points) and Ivar Kalamees (164 points) remain confortably the top 2 overall scorers in the 2013 FSR Fantasy League. Jack Keithley is now 3rd on the list with 117 Fantasy points scored.

Drivers' market costs were updated. Dian Kostadinov (+200$) and Marcel van der Linden (+200$) were the drivers who climbed the costs ladder the most. Petar Brljak (+200$) also climbed the costs ladder despite not taking part in this race, thanks to a COA decision which removed a time penalty he received in the Hungarian GP. Remember that the drivers that you already have on your team will continue to cost you what they did when you included them on your lineup.
