RDTCC S7 - Round 5 @ Spa-Francorchamps GP Sunday October 30th 2011

Start: Rolling start

Practice: 18:45 GMT (30 minutes)
Qualification 1: 19.15 GMT (20 minutes)
Qualification 2: 19.35 GMT (10 Minutes)
Warm-up: 19:45 GMT (15 minutes)
Race: 20:00 GMT (65 minutes including formation lap)

Weather:
Qualy 1 and 2 will have a little rain, not more then 15-20%. During the warmup the rain will stop, with temps around 17°C during these sessions.
The race will start dry but the rain of the qualy will proceed early in the race, the rain will get heavier, around 35-45%. Eventually it will get dry, between halfway and 3/4 of the race. During the race the temprature will be around 15-17°C.

Qualification
The qualification this season will be held over 2 sessions, Q1 and Q2. All drivers go out in Q1 to set their fastest lap in an open qualification session, the top 10 of Q1 will enter Q2 for a superpole battle.
After Q1 (ingame known as Practice 2) we continue to Q2 (ingame knows as qualifcation) where only the top 10 of Q1 will drive a superpole lap, the rest of the drivers (11 till 30) will remain in their pitbox till Q2 session is finished.

  • In Q2 drivers need to drive their outlap, hotlap and inlap, 3 laps in total. If drivers outside the top 10 start a lap in Q2 they will be disqualified for the race!
Formation lap
First lap of the race will be a single file formation lap. The race leader remains a speed of 100 km/h (60 mph) during the formation lap and the rest of the field follows without swaying. If you spin during the formation lap you follow the field in last position.
The race starts when the leader accelerates out of the final corner. No overtaking before the start/finish line.

Cutting
There are no exceptions in the rules of cutting in this event. Normal RD rules applies, with 2 wheels inside the white lines at all times.

Incidents
If you come in a situation that you tap another driver of the track, you may continue your race without waiting and give back the position. You will receive a penalty when the incident is reported by the driver that was the victim of the incident.
First lap of the race will be reviewed completly by the league admin, when first lap incidents occure the penalty given will be harder.

Reports can be filed to the league admin together with a short description from your side and a clear video showing the incident from different angles. Submit your file here

Cutting

No cutting in the first chicane!!
There are exceptions in the rules of cutting in this event. Normal RD rules applies when there is grass area next to the track surface, with 2 wheels inside the yellow lines at all times. Otherwise the race surface is from wall to wall, you may cross the yellow line here.

1.Adelaide Street Circuit 2011
Secondly we goes and visit Sweden and:
2.Anderstorp
Thirdly we got to a unknown test track.
3.AMS Renault Test Track
4rd we travel over The English Channel and there we visit
4.Donnington Park GP
Then we just travel some miles or how far it is and drives at
5.Cadwell Park
From there we got south-east and find the beautiful
6.Spa-Franchorchamps 2004
And the last round of the league will be crowned at one of the most historical tracks in the world,
7.Monaco GP

This isnt that bad, but i would edit 3, 5 and 7.

Maybe:
1. Adeliade Street Circuit (it would make awesome racing, and crashes)
2. Curitiba Brazil (wait im going somewhere with this)
3. Anderstop (if we are running STCC we need to bring it up that direction)
4. Donnington Park (Im happy with that, great track)
5.Fuji (so asia gets a race)
6. Long beach USA (so the US gets a race)
7. Spa (a track fitting of a season finale)

That way every continent aside from Africa and Antartica get a race, truly making it global. However, if we only run a 5 track championship, cull North america and Asia, the rest are great tracks.
