if you want to make it really realistic dont let to drive by your anchestors blood but by your citizenship which you have, in Footbal Cup in Germany team there were also Poland :D

Ondrej I am Greek but I live in sweden and since I am the only Greek Driver in RD I had to join the Swedish team in Season 2.
Any way, we have thought about that and we will very soon revail all information very shortly.

guys we're deciding on changing the drivers per team to 2. but if we do this we have to have you guys help us out. we'll put up a "team needing driver" thread and you guys have to keep looking at this. this is the key to having a good season. for ex. if turkey only had one driver to race, they would post that they need a driver for that round. anyone can race for them. you need to post on that thread you can race for them. then they are alright for the season. you guys promise you will keep up to date on that thread through out the season. if you guys can't we'll have 4 per team.

But what if,i don't have a driver and i need one from other country, and that driver wants to race for our country just to loose and put his nationality in advantage? Sure this is not what it's gonna happen i hope :D

You all most be wondering what mod will be used this season. Lets start from the first season of Nations Grand Prix.

Back then the Formula BMW was used and was quite populiar back at the days.Durring Season 2 we went for Formula Masters, they were easy to drive but could get complicated some times.

This season we thought of changing car type to something wich most people nowadays like to drive and we hope you will realy enjoy.
Nations Grand Prix will us the Clio Cup mod made by T2L.

The Nations Grand Prix crew would like to thank the T2L guys for allowing us to use the Clio cup for for this seasons Grand Prix Online.

More details will be added soon.

Here is something else I created a big quickly.

If you pay close attention on the picture there is a hint on what track this is and this track will be on the calender. (If you find the answer dont tell anyone)

Welcome to the 3rd season of the Nations Grand Prix by Racedepartment. After another successful season last year saw Netherlands rise to the top and take their first championship. Each team will be tested in a different form of driving than last year as the open wheelers of the Formula Masters have been replaced by the Renault Clio's - by True to Life Racing.
The league has many different aspects to it than last year, which we hope will make the racing better than ever.

Safety Car -
A manual safety car will be used in this years Nations Grand Prix. A driver will be chosen to lead the car's around on one formation lap. The safety car will be a WTCC Touring car and will have a special skin which will be included in the Skinpack. After the formation lap, the Safety Car will pull over and the leader will take up the pace making. There will be no overtaking before the start/finish line.

Season 3 hosts track from all over the world, it includes well known tracks such as Silverstone and Spa alongside tracks like Varano and Norisring which are new to league racing on Racedepartment. This years calendar has two unique rounds to it.

Prologue:
T he prologue is a brand new addition to any league on Racedepartment before. The prologue decides what teams go in what division for the 1st round. Each [/COLOR]teams selects 3 drivers to enter the prologue. There will be a Time Trial server up all week and the drivers can do as many laps as they want. However, the 3 fastest times the drivers do will be added together and that will be their teams time. The top half will go into Division 1, the bottom half into Division 2

eg)

Netherlands -
Michael Storm - 1:24.7
Christopher Aponte - 1:25.2
Peter Duivelaar - 1:25:4
Total: 4:25.5

Round Seven - Enduro:

Round Seven will be an endurance race around Rattle Snake Point. Instead of the regular 2 x 30 minute races there will be one 60minute race worth double points. Consistency and a good connection are key in this event as a DNF could cost your team many valuable points in the championship hunt.

Promotion/Relegation:
Another brand new addition to the NGP Format in the indroduction of promotion and rleegation between divisions. The ottom 2 teams in Division 1 with lowest combined total points get relegated to division 2. Top 2 teams in Division 2 get promoted. Each division has 2 different point systems as seen above, meaning staying in Division One will be very important for a championship fight. The 2nd division will entirely depend on how many nations can sign-up - the more nations, the higher chance of a 2nd Division.

Bonus Points:
1 Point - Pole position
1 Point - Fastest Lap

Teams:
To maintain a 100% commitement rate to the league, teams require 3 drivers to make a Team, so there will always be 2 drivers available to race each round.
The Maximum is 10 to make sure every driver gets a drive and is not always sat out. The first 10 sign-ups for the team will be chosen, the "Kolpak" law is brought into play.
The Kolpak law is similar to a law used in football, were a competitor can play for another nations, provided he has relations in that country or lives in that country.

Reporting Incidents:
If a driver is unhappy with an incident during a race, he can report it to be viewed by the admin's. Here is how:

  1. Tell your Team Manager what happened.
  2. Create a short video of the incident from various different angles and cameras to give a fair view of the incident. Or if you are unable to create a video, timestamp what incident in the replay (Eg: Incident occured at 576.43 in Sprint Race)
  3. Send it to one of the admin's (Ross Balfour, Austin Jordan, Giorgos Davakos, Bjorn de Haas) and it will be looked at it. We will give our independant view of the incident so it's viewed fairly.
  4. The incident in question will be posted in a seperate thread along with the penalty. If either team has an issue with the penalty they can PM their complaints to an admin
Team Managers:
Each team must have a team manager before they can be registered. The team manager can race in the races but has to organise the running of the team.
The Team Manager must do the following:
- Organise the skin (Request or made by a member of the team)
- Organise who will race in what event
- Manage any Race Reports and send them to the League Spokesmen
- Keep track of maximum amount of races raced by a team member

Sign-up thread will be up shortly

Country:

Once your country has 4 drivers, a team thread will be opened here:
http://www.racedepartment.com/ngp-s3-teams/

Sign-up for the country you are from first, if we realise later in the season that your nations can't form a team, we will ask you to join another team if you still want to race:
-We will put you on a team with a country that you relations too.
- Put you on a team with a country that is close to you. ex. if you're from Portugal and they don't have enough drivers then your team can race for Spain
- Put you on a team that is needing a driver. this is only if no other options are left.
So if you want to race for your nation, make sure you find at least 3 other drivers so you can race for your nation!
