They are still listed as an official WTCC support class but havent seen any news about that recently

The upcoming weeks i will update you on a documentary that is created about the motorsport history of the Abarth factory.

The Scorpion Tales as the film is named will be released soon. It will be used to relaunch the Trofeo Abarth 500 series that follow some European rounds of the World Touring Car Championship and it has it's own national series in Italy as well.

The Scorpion Tales (First Episode Trailer)

A few days ago, I already showed you a sneakpreview of the upcoming documentary about Abarth: The Scorpion Tales.

Today the trailer of the first episode is released with english subtitles. We are allowed to take a look inside the Abarth factory and see the Trofeo Abarth 500 series in action during the Italian championship at the Monza circuit. The 1400cc little monsters with 190bhp and an incredible torque are a guaranteed success for close racing!
