SETUP

SECTOR 1

1:
Stay left as you go across the line and brake hard at the 100m marker (left), at the same time nudge the car right. Concentrate on braking down to 3rd gear and using gradually more steering as you near the apex. Use (almost) full lock to ensure you get a foot on the curb. Continue turning right afterwards until your left front meets the carpet of turn 2.

2: Turn hard left and use about 80% throttle to go around 2. Full throttle will cause a spin so wait until 5th gear to floor it. Open the DRS only after clearing the curb on the exit and the you've straigtened the wheel. Use KERS to get into 7th (short press).

3: Come to the left as you go down the straight. Stay as wide as you can without getting a wheel on the grass and brake as hard as you can at the 100m marker (left). Brake in a straight line with a slight nudge right and wait until just before the curb (2nd gear) on the inside right to use full lock to make the apex. Be careful not to lock up the brakes on entry. (Braking distance is a bit shorter without DRS)

4: Be very gentle with the throttle as you exit 3, come to the right immediately, shifting into 3rd on the way. Inbetween the Pirelli and P-zero signs on the right come off the throttle and turn hard left using almost full lock to get the front left on the white curb. Hold the steering as you go through using a tiny bit of throttle and then open both the steering and the throttle after you're done with the curb. Shift to 4th on the exit but do not run wide.

5: Flat out. Come left after 4 as quick as you can and begin turning right in the shadow of the trees. Use just enough steering (2/3) to get the right front pointed at the inside curb and use a bit more (3/4) as you go through to make sure the front left doesn't go past the carpet/curb on the exit. As you exit straighten the wheel open the DRS, use a bit of KERS to get into 7th. (too much steering and you'll spin, turn is much harder on primes)
SECTOR 2

6/7: After 5, point the car left towards the 100m marker of 6. Once there, brake in a straight line down to 3rd gear, turning in sharply well after the 50m mark (25m) with almost full lock so that the right front grabs the curb. After touching the curb get back on the throttle and open the steering. Floor it once the front left is on the carpet and use a slight turn left to hold the corner. Use a bit of KERS only if you won't open DRS in 8.

8: Use about a 1/3 turn right to hang on to 8. Open the DRS as early as you dare (I wait until after the UBS signs) but remember not to turn too much or the rears will spin.

9:
You will have to drift left with the DRS open, otherwise make sure you are over there looking for the 100m maker. Brake hard in a straight line coming down to 3rd gear and turn in sharply after the 50m marker so the nose goes over the curb on the inside. Afterwards open the steering so that the front left is heading for the carpet of 10 (use a shot of throttle if you need).

10: Use a 1/4 turn left as you accelerate hard (not 100%) through the start of 10. Then about 2/3 to keep the front right from bumping the wall before heading down the straight. Open DRS and use a big press of KERS as soon as you have the wheel straightened (just before the DHL sign above).
SECTOR 3

11: Point the car slightly left down the straight and allow it to drift right before entering the chicane. Use a press of brake at the 50m mark and downshift to 5th on the way in waiting until just after the Qantas sign (top left) to use almost full lock to grab the curb. Make sure to take off enough speed on entry so you end up in the middle of the road, this will make the 2nd half of the chicane a lot easier.

12: Going through 11 get back on the throttle early and push hard after exiting but manage the throttle, you cannot floor it. After 11 straighten the wheel briefly and then use full lock right to grab the curb of 12 . Lift off slightly if you need so that you don't go onto the grass of the exit. Open DRS and use KERS to get into 7th after you're off the carpet on the exit. Save about 1/4 (100) KERS for the pit straight.

13: Take the shortest line down the straight towards 13 by nudging right but then drifting left for 13. After the 100m marker (75m) brake in a straight line down to 3rd. Begin turning in at 50m but don't commit (almost full lock) until after. You want a late apex so the front right doesn't touch the curb until just before it ends. Use a small amount of throttle (be careful not to spin) on the exit to come to left for 14.

14: After acclerating away from 13 you will get to 5th gear on entry. Shortly after the UBS signs start on the right come off the throttle and downshift to 4th, use full lock to get the front right on the curb (not the grass) and get back on the throttle to come to the left to meet the curb shifting into 5th as you do so.

15: Come to the right acclerating out of 14 and get to the right immediately. Brake as hard as you can in front of the 50m marker and shift down to 2nd, nudge the car left as you do but brake in straight line. Use full lock left just before you meet the inside curb with the front left and hold it until after you clear the curb on the exit.

16: (Similar to turn 4) Accelerate (gently!) away from 15 so that you're in the middle of the road, shifting to 3rd on entry. Just before the safety car line lift off the gas and turn right with about 3/4 of the steering. Begin acclerating gradually as you come in contact with the curb and open the steering to glide left on the exit, floor it once you're on the curb pointed down the straight (and open DRS and use the rest of your KERS).
Notes: Save all your KERS on the outlap until the exit of 16 onto the pit straight. 5 is difficult to do flat but it is possible.

SETUP

SECTOR 1

1:
Come left as you go down the start/finish straight looking for the 100m marker. Brake very hard in a straight line shortly after passing it (75m) down to 2nd gear. Wait until you're almost done braking to turn in hard to the right ensuring that you take as wide a line as possible, this is a long turn and you want to end up as close to the inside curb at the end for a nice entry to 2.

2/3: Just before the inside curb of 1 ends use a short press of throttle and then lift off just after the curb is gone. Dive hard left into 2 so that the front left (and nothing more) goes over the curb. After the apex open the steering to about 3/4 of a turn until you can see a clear path straight into 3, then straighten the wheel and gently accelerate away. After getting into 3rd open DRS and use as little steering as possible to stay with the curve of 3 (about 1/4 turn) make sure to come towards the inside curb in the 2nd half of the turn making a straight line towards the curb on the exit.
SECTOR 2

4: An uphill braking zone lends a hand here. Brake hard at the 100m mark down to 2nd gear, get the car in early with a jerk right after the 50m mark then use full lock to hit the apex. Stay off the throttle until you are all the way round, if you didn't brake hard enough on entry you can get away with some trail braking all the way up to the apex. Accelerate gently out of 2nd and then floor it as you head right towards 5 (use a little KERS to get to 4th gear).

5/6: Going under the 2nd UBS sign after 4 (shifting into 5th) begin turning left as gradually as possible. After you begin turning back off to about 80% throttle as you use about 2/3 of the steering on entry, stay with the curve and use a 3/4 turn left to come in contact with it towards the end. Immediately after, straighten the wheel and punch the throttle and then lift off before turning sharply right. Get back on the power as soon as you know your front right will go over the curb then open the steering as early as possible to utilize the wide exit. Stay in 5th the entire time.

7/8: Stay left after 6 open the DRS and use a quick press of KERS to shift to 6th gear before using a short press of the brake to downshift to 4th at the 50m mark. Turn in sharply right as you do so in order to run over the curb. Use full lock to do this and assuming you didn't take off too much speed while braking you won't have use any throttle to meet the curb on the exit. Afterwards open the steering to about 2/3 right and accelerate hard (but not flat out) through 8 shifting to 5th as you go. Make sure not to use any more than the front right to go over the curb and not so much throttle that you run wide on the exit. As soon as you're done open the DRS, use a bit of KERS and point the car right for turn 9.

9: Brake as hard as you can just before the 100m mark in a straight line down to 2nd. It's downhill so you will need to continue braking a little longer than you think before turning in hard left (full lock). Wait until just before the curb on your right ends to turn in (well after the 50m mark). Hold the steering at full lock as you go round and wait until the car is almost parallel with the curb on the exit before straightening out and accelerating very gently away into 10.
SECTOR 3

10/11: Flat out as long as you are careful. Taking the exit of 9 slowly will help give you some room to point the car slightly right so that you can accelerate full throttle through 10 without using too much steering (1/3 max). Stay off the inside curb and allow your hard acceleration to take you close to the exit curb (but not on it!). As you do so you should be shifting into 5th and you will need to lift off the throttle and use a tighter turn right to keep the car on track. Use the same steering angle to set yourself up for 11.Look to the right for the blue Allianz sign, then brake and downshift to 3rd using a 3/4 turn right to get the right front onto the inside curb. Accelerate gently shifting into 4th after meeting the curb on the exit.

12/13: After 11 point the car right and accelerate hard towards 12. Enter in 5th gear with a sharp turn left (3/4 turn or more) just after the 50m marker (far right) disappears from view (still visible in eyefinity). Use a small lift as you go through to keep the car stable and you will be able to go flat through 13 (which is just the approach of 14). Sick to the curb as you turn right through 13.

14: Watch for another blue Allianz sign on the right, hold the steering 3/4 to the right and brake down to 2nd you will not continue turning right until you let go of the brake, you must also be careful not to lock up either. Use a tiny bit of throttle after the front right touches the inside curb in order to make it to the curb on the exit. As soon as you're pointed down the straight accelerate hard into 3rd, then floor it, open DRS and deploy KERS saving about 1/4 of it for the exit of 15.

15: Move to right down the straight and look left for the 100m mark. Brake very hard down to 2nd, begin turning gradually at the same time you hit the brakes with about 1/4 turn initially and then a 1/2 turn around the 50m mark and then full lock just before the front left contacts the inside curb. Use a tiny bit of throttle to get round then open the steering just before the inside curb ends and accelerate away hard. Floor it after shifting to 3rd, open DRS and deploy the rest of your KERS to get to the finish line.
Notes: Try to save most of your KERS for the exits of 14 and 15. Turn 5/6 takes some practice, be careful of spins accelerating out of 9 and 14.
