Patch 1.2.0.1 is about to hit Steam anytime now.

• Added possibility to run several championships at the same time
• Moved user data folder to My Documents for Vista and non administrator support
• Updated mounting of expansion packs. Now one or more expansions can be uninstalled independently of each other.
• New track category and model select button layout

Hi guys, new guy here so my first post.

I also get the freeze for about 2 secs then all is OK after that, I run an 8800GTX.
Its not a big deal though and something I can live with until its patched.

There is a bigger problem I'm having since the patch though that I havnt seen mentioned here yet.
My laptimes from Time Attack, Practice or Race Event dissapear if I shut GTRE down and then restart it.
The only ones that stick are ones when running a Championship.

I've sent an email to Simbin support via Atari UK about it so heres hoping that I get a reply.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

Yep. This was a bug introduced in the latest patch, no records are retained anymore. It is well known, hopefully it may be fixed with a future patch.

Doesn't do anything for me Warren. It was the first thing I tried When I got one. Doing my head in now.

Do you get any errors in event viewer at the same time? Something like this :-

Hey Bram, that can be caused by heat. I also sometimes have the same problem. Try to see if your fan of your gfx card is still dust-free (at least pretty dust-free). Don't know what card you have but the latest WHQL nVidia ones running pretty good around here.
