Patch 1.1.1.2 on the way (Steam)
In preparation for the upcoming GTR Evolution expansion Race07 patch 1.1.1.2 is about to go live on Steam already now. Depending on how things go it can be live already tonight.

Main difference in this patch will be reworked pitstops, head out to GTR Evoltion - Developed by SimBin and check the FAQ under support to see some details about how new pitstops work.

Changelog from 1.1.0.4 to 1.1.1.2

-Added support for the upcoming GTR Evolution expansion.
-Added texture garbage collection
-Added option to choose minutes instead of laps in dedicated server.
-Added "right-click to unbind control" in control settings. ESC will cancel instead of unbinding
-Added reworked pitstops logistics
-Added 'automatic gear' and 'automatic clutch' to in game host menu.
-Fixed mesh cache.
-Fixed description on Honda and Alfa 2007
-Fixed driver feet animations.
-Fixed helmet view FOV in rain.
-Fixed so category buttons in custom championship track selection won't select the track.
-Fixed car alpha bug in replay
-Fixed . issue in foldername
-Fixed free flight cam in instant replay
-Fixed camera change bug after instant replay
-Fixed blue flag warning (24s before stop&go)
-Fixed virtual mirrors still showing when looking back
-Fixed time attack refresh button text (bug in non-english languages)
-Fixed bink clear backbuffer. (Steam Community popup getting stuck in intro movie)
-Disabled car collision in pit lane.
-Loading optimizations.
-Removed timings info from second race timings screen.
-Removed car class filter in lobby.
-Removed pit stop screen tint and added text shadow
-Reworked pit strategies for AI.
-AI code tweaks

Since the patch none of my Add-on tracks are showing when I play the online version, the're in the off-line version but dont even get the Add-on icon in on-line.Any ideas?

Did you get this sorted? I had no problems with add-on tracks at all after the patch. I only have the online version installed though.

Maybe you placed your add-on track one layer too deep? Do you have them like this Gamedata/Locations/name of the track?

Just fixed it thanks, followed advise in the attached thread. Had to create a GameData/Locations folder in my on-line install and copy the tracks into that. All good now.

Howdo gents, I have just reinstalled Race 07, with the new patch. It runs really bad, now.
First off, my puter is older than Noah's Ark (it may even have been used as ships log... lol) I know, there's little to nothing, can be done for me. I just thought I'd report this, hoping someone may have found similar.
Even though my puter is using an abacus as a processor... lol, it ran the game very well before. I even raced some online club events and pick up races. Even with a full server, I never saw any difficulties.
Now, its a bit frame hungry running alone, slideshow like running in company. I dare not take it online, for fear of messing up others races.
I just hope this has been reported by someone, somewhere.. and hopefully, its being worked on... the possibility of me getting a 'puter, a little less dark in age, are slight... lol.

did you test with the graphics setup to change something?
maybe you forgot how it was last time?

i say there isn't a better time than now for a good upgrade and leave Noah's pc behind

Graphics are setup on medium atm, only low to go back to...

As for upgrades, I know the probs would be gone in a second with a newer 'puter. A minor tale, just to kinda fill in the blanks on that front... lol.
My last vidcard went completely.. left me with nothing. My Bro kindly bought me a new card (better, in every way, than the last)... I still haven't paid him back, fully... mainly cause... I can't... lol.
