I had no laggy issues but hadn't spent any time on the track before today (hectic schedule).

    Observations:

Track seems much better suited to multi-class racing than Rouen. Hopefully by race day everyone will have figured out what lines each class takes. I nailed the barrier in the chicane and collected the cars following me (sorry).

Um... :D... What kind of rolling start was that :D??? That was like no other parade lap I have ever seen at RD.

no problems for me, except some overmotivated persons out there
i can't understand, why there is such agressive way of driving in a test race :disapointed:

couldn't see any formation lap as well :confused2:

the race ended for my quite fast, I got a call and had to leave - sorry

    see you next

Parade lap was too fast it's supposed to be 100Kmh/62Mph not somewhere around 110mph. Cars were way too spread out and pole went for it long before exit of the last turn, out of the hairpin IIRC.

    Observations:
    1. I had laggy too.
    2. Except the 1st start, the 2nd and 3rd start can't see anyone until the race begin.
    3. Parade lap is too fast, leader should slow down and steady at 100km/h, not 150!
    4. There is only 25 ppls participated, not a full load....just worry the system will overload again during the formal race with more than 40 drivers.

Well that was a lot of fun :)

After a clean start - one place down from my place on the grid, but i couldn't get my spot back on the warmup lap - I carefully got up to tempo and was able to break away from the rest of the GT1 field, to a 15 sec gap.

But then I ran into problems: after one third of the race my screen froze for possibly 10 seconds, when the image came back I had spun somewhere in sector 3 and was about 7 seconds down in class in P3. Something that happens now and then, has to do with GeForce drivers, but it's hard to find a pattern.

After that I had a great race getting back to Johan and trying to pass. Good fun! I think the track is very fast, but suitable for multi class racing. The chicane is the most problematic spot when LMPs get up behind GTs. The former can brake much later, but the latter don't have the grip to let them pass in the 200m before turn-in. It'll cause major delay from the LMP point of view but IMHO it's hard to avoid.
There's a couple more places that might see people run into problems, but all in all we should be able to have a good race here.

Yeah - how could I forget. On all the starts I was the only car on the grid until just before the lights came on (slightly worrying :().

My first meters ever on this track, never prepared less for a race.
In practise helped my teammate with his mirrors, not succesfull, so there we spoiled some usefull minutes in getting to know the track.

Made it into place 10 in quali, not bad!
Start was a bit odd, with the cars dissapearing and getting back etc.

Start went ok, and all of the sudden I drove in 4th place?!
Anyways, no lag or troubles seen during the race.
But I couln't keep my concentration, got offtrack a few times and lost my car three times accelerating out of the hairpin.
That's when I decided to stop racing, not to spoil anothers race.
Was getting hungry too, so after a short hour I placed my car in the pitbox and left.

I hope the information you guys got from the test are usefull, the track is nice and very suitable for Endurance racing.
Especially for LMP's it's a nice and quick track, good choice imho.

See you again next test ;)

Had the same trouble at t'hairpin myself, my setup requires a bit of work there I believe. But then I blew the engine into t'hairpin fairly early on but hung around for an hour or so to watch everyone else.

I also agree with everyone's general opinion of the suitability of this track. I must admit to a little trepidation on first seeing the track that was chosen but I have to admit I quite liked it. Some of the big stop zones have enough room for differing lines and areas where the LMPs are forced to sit in behind slower cars will make for an interesting race. One highlight was seeing, first Ben go three wide on the pit straight and then I too went three wide over the start/finish line.

Saw a couple of lag incidents where cars disappeared for a second or two, one of which Ben also reported.
