Thread: Inside Sim Racing Special Report E3

Shaun, Darin and Jessica visited the E3 expo and did an extensive report featuring various racing games:

- RACE On (PC)
- Forza 3 (Xbox 360)
- Gran Turismo 5 (PSP)

Ofcourse the fans are looking out for the Forza 3 game and Shaun and Darin find it fantastic again but I have to be a little more sceptical based on what they show us. The response of the wheel seems terribly slow as you can see 10 minutes into the show, and if thats that the final version of the game I don't think many simracers, that want to drive the game with a wheel will be interested in it. Maybe I am wrong and it is just the TV recording that causes the slowmotion in the response. Judge it yourself, what do you think?

SRT already said it's bad synchro between monitor and camera. It's not lag.

I'm sure about that as my Fanatec has no lag at all

And think yourself, would driving with terrible lag not be very very very very hard? If that was the case he would've made much more mistakes.

I have no clue, first need to have the game to make a proper judgement.
