Thread: [MotecAdd-Client-FX] Online Support (international)

The new Client-FX was released, this thread is dedicated for international support (because my own forum is in french )

Note: Client-FX is compatible with all MotecAdd-Server (rFactor 1255 and Race07-Series), but I create only one thread for FX in this RD Section.


The documentation of the new Client-FX is in construction, it will be added later.

WOW Alek, it looks excellent.

I have it all working fine now mate but I have another question, when I move my mouse and click on FX on my other monitor, my game goes back to the desktop, is there any way to stop this ?

FX is made to work on another PC (or laptop), but you can use it in dualview, i know, but with this disadvantage: any application in full-screen will leave in the task bar if you give the focus on another application, it is the principle even of Windows…

I found the first bug (lol) : the choice of the skin is not saved in the config file when you quit, FX starting up always with the first skin of the list. I would fix that in the next upgrade.

Running Windows 7 here; every time I try to browse (Windows Explorer) to the GTRE Server exe or try to start the MotecAdd Server the explorer is not responding.
Had it before with the older version.
In between I used the dual screen version and now with the New FX client the server is required again. What do I overlook?

but i did everything as its on the installation guide, unistalled the older DX installed the new one
then installed FX, when i start the server it loads DX OK!
but when i press ctrl+F1 appears a windows asking for the "IP OF SERVER(PC)"
when i put the ip thats is shown at the server, the server shows this messenge
"MotecAdd-Client 127.0.0.1 Connection Refused (IP already connected)"

anda doesnt conect FX, i read on the French stuff that possilbe to play offline, dont know what i did wrong there
the FX shows another windows "wait for track information", but doesnt do anything

First, i recognize an mirroring / reflection on every font - so you cant read the labeling very well. Hope you can offer another font, cause i think its a feature from you, not a bug :P

Not yet tested by driving, but i will do it later at the evening.

Yes I put the option “mirror” for the fixed text label, but not for the data.
So you want a option to remove mirror mode on these labels ?
