rFactor 1 Montreal Test Run 1997 Ferrari F310B

Mohamedou Ari
It's been a while. I've been busy with business here and there, but, now that my cockpit issues are out of the way, I can finally begin improving as a sim racer.

I may have found the primary culprit of my lack of pace:

It all comes down to being familiar with the track. Canada is a track I know like clockwork because I have watched it countless times and I have seen the racing line.

For 9 out of every 10 tracks, since, I'm not very familiar, I don't know how to go about the track. I better watch some races on those same tracks.

There is the matter of consistency, but, once, I get that nailed, I will slowly improve.

My best time was a 1:21.954, which is +3.85 seconds off the pole time of that Grand Prix, and, +2.3 seconds off the fastest lap of that race.

So, yes, I'm more than pleased. ^_^

All aids are off except auto-clutch.

This game is old, but, still, more realistic than the F1 Games from Codemasters have ever been.
