F1 2010 Spa-Francorchamps - Belgium (Dry)

F1 2010 The Game (Codemasters)
I was able to do a 1:39:967 in TT with this setup. Could do with more traction in the corners though.

except i used l48-52 low med brake did 1:51.201 as my fastest lap in a 20% race i was 2nd in qualifying

WEBER had 1:50. 003 and won the pole i had 1:50.034 and got @nd

on auto, abs and traction tyres and fuel sims are on

only i would figure out a great setup that already was there to look at LOL

Cheers to everyone posting their very helpful setups. Amazing Spuddy you can do this with a keyboard. Too bad you don't use a wheel, and as far as you using automatic gears, I guess that would effect the gears you choose to use, but you probably already know you would have at least half a second quicker times using manually selected gears. When ever I usually find a way to get quicker is to shift less, and downshift less when lapping. This is most most obvious when you race against your ghost. Also kudos to Bram to going back and posting an even quicker set up. On Forza 3 and Race Pro, I eventually found out how to tune the chassis and gears. F1 2010, however, the whole in and out thing on the alignment settings has me perpelxed, so I've really relied on the tunes here to help. Sometimes I'll do what a lot have already been doing, borrowing gears from this setup and taking suspension settings from that setup. I'm usually more concerned with tunes for real world conditions than just plain hotlapping in TT. Thanks again to everyone here posting.

Lol man many thanks :)
Setup is fantastic. I play LOTUS on medium in career, and i won the race from 19 grid position (wet not dry but it works fine)
Btw I played on keyboard.
Many thx to all setup'ers :p
I've lost many races when I use default engineers setups, then I found this forum :)

Cheers

I finally managed to go below 1.41 on Spa, with a keyboard that is and with abs and tc enabled. So here is setup number 6 for timetrial with mclaren.
This is a TT keyboard setup with tractioncontrol on full and ABS on!

I managed 1.42.254 with a keyboard(pc version).
EDIT: Just did 1.42.147 by changing ballast distr. to 70-30
EDIT2: Did 1.42.120 today by increasing front and rear suspension from 5 to 7. To counter the loss in cornering grip the front anti-rollbar was brought down a notch too 2. It gives a more responsive car at the cost of acceleration and top speed in the long straight. But this is made up in the second sector.
EDIT3: Just did a 1.41.724 after weeks of fiddling with the setup.
EDIT4: New time is 1.41.394 I wanted a more stable setup for cornering without loosing too much topspeed or responsivness. Camber and toes were adjusted to improve cornering. Front wing went up to 3 again. To counter loss of top speed the ballast was moved a noch to the rear and rear suspension was brought down to 4 for increased traction.
EDIT5: slightly more flexible so easier to correct little mistakes and also better in the chicane. new time: 1.40.997
EDIT6: 1.40.722 nothing changed in setup.

Thanks Spuddy. I'll try this, but as I run with no assists, I think I'll have to change the ballast to 60/40, because the 40/60 was causing my car to swap ends at the last chicane. Running with ABS and Traction on makes a HUGE difference. IMO, this game only gets good with all assists. off. Even then, it's usually way too easy.

Bram's setup with ballast distribution 80%-20% and 7 gear a step down. Career year 3 of 7. Mclaren, legend, no assist but traction. Pole 1:47:447. First in race, 1:47:928 fastest lap, followed by the two Red bulls.
Momo racing wheel.
